Jamal Shead's Houston Cougars had a 125-19 record over 4 years. That's 87%. Between tournaments and regular season play, he played in a grand total of 138 games and lost just 18. That's 120-18..again 87%. He's currently the third string point guard on a team that's 7-20. That's 26%. In games he's actually played they're 7-18. Either way you slice it, Jamal Shead has lost more games in the pros already than he's lost in the past 4 years combined with Houston. That's a tough pill to swallow for a guy who values winning this much. So after leading the Raptors 905 to a win over the Maine Celtics 115-114, Shead sat on the bench as his team gave a lackluster effort against the Chicago Bulls... He checked into the game at the start of the fourth quarter with his team down 11 after sitting for three quarters. Six years ago today junior Herbert Jones achieved legendary status in the annals of Alabama Men’s Basketball history as his grittiness and spirit helped propel the Crimson Tide to an 88-82 victory over the No. 25 LSU Tigers in Coleman Coliseum on Feb. 15, 2020. Just two weeks after having his fractured left wrist surgically repaired, Jones literally played one-handed against the Tigers and somehow finished with a career-high 17 rebounds, including five on the offensive end, to go along with six points, three assists, two blocks, two charges taken and a steal in 29 minutes of action. During a dramatic moment in the second half, Jones made two one-handed free throws that stirred the Alabama crowd into a frenzy. “There was a lot of crowd noise when that happened,” Alabama head coach Nate Oats said. “I think it was recognition of the fact that he is such a warrior. He stepped up with one hand, got 17 rebounds, goes 2-for-2 with his off hand at the line.” The blue-collar performance inspired his teammates as Kira Lewis Jr. scored a game-high 27 points and handed out four assists, while Jaden Shackelford had 26 points which included five 3-pointers.

CONGRATULATIONS TO KING JAMES! At the 9:54 mark of the 1st quarter in last night's win over PHX, Lebron became the only player in NBA history to miss 16,967 shots, supplanting Kobe Bryant (16,966). He would miss 12 more to put a permanent stamp on his new record. No player has missed more regular season and postseason combined shot attempts than King James, the most shot-jackinest fake "pass-first" player in the history of our beloved game.
