That’s a wrap! ✨ BINIverse World Tour 2025 has officially come to an end. From the grand opening at the Philippine Arena to the emotional final stop in Vancouver — what a journey it has been. Grabe kayo, BINI. You gave your all in every performance, in every city, for every blooms na sumuporta sa inyo all over the world. Kahit na ang daming pinagdaanan nitong mga nakaraang buwan, hindi kayo nagpatalo. You bounced back stronger, more united, and even more inspiring. Sa bawat stage na tinapakan niyo, pinakita niyo kung sino talaga kayo — powerful performers on stage, but even more beautiful human beings off stage. Editing this video at 3AM is making me extra emotional. Habang pinapanood ko kayo, unti-unti nang nagsi-sink in sa utak ko na tapos na talaga. The tour is over. My honest review of Buruguduy The Musical Nung una, akala ko parang mababaw na patawa lang. Medyo nakornihan pa nga ako nung simula eh. Naisip ko "ang labo naman nito...patawa lang sila ng patawa" (buti nalang nakakatawa talaga sila✌🏼😅) Siguro I was trying to look for something deeper, and was hoping that things would soon make sense...or at least magkaroong ng satisfying amount of substance in their world of absurdity (naks...world of absurdity) Sure, it was fun and funny...and how the songs were used (and how the actors performed them), were amazing, and the visual assault was spectacular. Given na yun eh. ...but I kept asking myself, yun na ba talaga yun? Isang nakakatawang trip na may simpleng closure sa dulo? Then looking back, I soon realized how dark and simple the narrative was. Para akong binuhusan ng isang timba ng malamig na tubig. It was brilliant. Like a deep disturbing track disguised as a novelty song. Every single line and element pala were symbols and clues on what the story was all about...even the stupidest little things. Everything about it was precise and calculated. Lahat sinadya. Sobrang galing nung writer. Sobrang galing nila lahat. Napaka-fearless and unapologetic. Parang "kung di mo napansin yung serious side, oks lang...at least natawa at natuwa ka...and yun naman ang importante" 😁👍🏼 Kung na-gets mo naman, parang "p*tang ina...yun pala yun. Mga sira-ulo sila" 🤟🏼😳 sobrang in your face pala yung kwento. Sobrang dark and twisted, pero may subtle, at simple, and beautiful na silver lining.❤️ May seryosong matututunan, at makatotohanan na inspirasyon...na binalot sa isang makulit at magical na mundo. For refined fuel, we import from Malaysia, South Korea, Singapore, China and other regional suppliers. Which means: may alternative sources na ang Pilipinas. So, tanong: since may alternatives tayo, bumaba ba ang presyo ng langis? HINDI. Because oil prices are not determined by where the Philippines buys. Prices are set by global benchmarks. We can switch suppliers all we want, but if global prices are high, mataas pa rin ang presyo sa Pilipinas dahil private sector ang nagse-set ng presyo depende sa kung magkano ang bili nila. Alangan naman malugi sila. (Oil Deregulation Law yan). So, the claim that prices will keep rising unless we find alternatives to the Middle East speaks more of your brain’s capacity to understand the oil market. Even countries that don’t rely on the Middle East are affected because the market is global. And like I posted before, the Philippines is a price taker, not a price setter. We don’t influence prices, we follow them. Hindi naman tayo member ng OPEC+ to be able to influence the price. Kahit saan pa tayo bumili, kung mataas ang presyo sa global market, mataas pa rin ang babayaran natin.
