If this game dev tool is up your alley, you can get it NOW on Itch where all profits go to my wallet! 🙏 🙏

You can also get it on the Unity Asset Store: but unity takes a 30% tax 😐

ooof twitter's compression is rough! here's the trailer thingy:

Great job! Does this work in 2D Sprites too? And if yes, would it work with default sprite Material or the Material need to be a Lit one?

Very good question! I had to go double check because i'm not very familiar with 2D sprites. Unfortunately, it seems like it's not compatible with Unity's 2D pipeline. I'll have to investigate exactly why but I'll make sure to add this limitation info on the store fronts til then

Isnt that just point light? Whats fake about it? ;]

It's not actually using unity's lighting system! It's a magic shader on a sphere. This deferred rendering tech lets you create stylized and super customizable point lights unbound by URP's 8 light limit per object. Also it's compatible with particle systems!

Wooho! I've been keeping my eye on this one. I think it could be a great fit for the style of my game. Does it work on skinned mesh renderers? And what about transparent objects or glass windows?

No problem with skinned meshes However, there is some limitations related to transparent objects. The transparent material render queue must be <2500 in order to receive direct lighting since anything above that won't draw to the depth buffer.

I just bought it from the unity store and it's a great asset! Very sorry I don't have an itch io account.

Thank you no worries at all! If you like the asset, feel free to leave a tiny review it helps with visibility! Or if you don't, let me know about it and I'll try to improve it : )
