Marriages have converted to being financial contracts nowadays and aren’t based on morality and value anymore. There’s no solid foundation, nor do many continue to build and grow… it’s like they have this idea it’s fixed and many are entitled based on the title.

Social media caused people to begin a “grass is always greener complex” and to chase unrealistic ideals of relationships. From there the red pill movement and the city girls movement kind of exacerbated the growing divide between women and men. Now it’s to a point where both sexes see each other as enemies with ulterior motives as opposed to partners to build with. I’m sure there’s more but this is my opinion based off what I’ve seen in the past year.🤷🏾‍♂️

This testimony is absolutely true speaking from a person a black man that was married for 20 years and I absolutely had to walk away from everything so my children will be secure and I did actually have to sleep on the street and start all the way over it has takin 5 years and I still got a little way to go there's absolutely 10 times a higher risk of men losing everything just because we decide to enter into a contract that they call marriage

The stories I heard from older men while I was working construction a few years back was crazy. We had a guy who was like 60+ working with us and he basically lost his restaurant through a divorce. I can never imagine myself doing physical labour at 60 just to survive.

Unless the laws changes or unless Men can be legally protected, some of them are ready to be single till death. Reasons being that the child custody and alimony laws tends to be biased in favor of women. Women file for divorce at a far higher rates than Men,so a man

This is not new! Ppl are using it as an excuse not to do the right thing. They're forgetting that married or not you can sue for compensation and assets. Men are the natural providers; makes sense when they decide to make sure their children still have a roof over their heads and resources. It's nasty work to leave a man desolate though. You shouldn't want your children to see their Dad down bad. Seen this happen to Women. Everybody has to choose better...don't rush.
