an armed society is a polite society

I live in an open carry state. I fully support the idea. I also do not open carry. I don't want to draw any attention to myself and make myself a target for a bad guy. I want the bad guys to wonder if everyone is armed.

🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🫡🫡🫡

@CenturyMAGA I'm always concealed carry, nobody needs to know I'm armed.

It was the only law and order for centuries when there was no other law around.

An armed society is a polite society.

When he grows up, he can come to Texas !!! 👍👍👍

Proper Open Care in Texas!

I live in Florida and I don't like it. Carrying is one thing, openly slinging a rifle over your shoulder is another. It needs to be inconspicuous. I see no rational reason to display your firearm. It doesn't scare me, I just don't understand the reason behind it and I think it's unnecessary.

I think people that open carry are morons and I’m VERY pro 2nd Amendment. If I were the bad guy and walked into a situation where I’m going to rob or assault people, the moron on the motorcycle here gets shot first! A smart criminal is going to delete the biggest threat on the scene first. Meanwhile, your intelligent CONCEALED carry individual is going to fade into the background and wait for their opportunity. Typically I reference the old adage, these guys gotta compensate for something….

@CreasonJana Those of us who are old enough remember HS guys coming to school with rifles in the back windows of their trucks. I love this.

Constitutionally allowed, but tactically questionable. In the current climate, not unreasonable.

As the 2nd amendment intended. 🇺🇸😎👍

Dumb AF. I've seen too many men swaggering around like they have basketBALLS suddenly gun-stripped in a moment of distraction by a laughing criminal. No thanks. If you ever SEE my gun, rest assured you are about to HEAR my gun.

@angrifrog No problem. Worry more about the ones that carry multiple guns in a duffle bag.

If this is where we are headed, he might be the hero of the hour.

I'll be moving there in five years.

Always makes me nervous; that rifle and strap can be used against him by an attacker behind him, that he couldn't prepare for in most cases and that would lead him face down and rather defenseless. But in general an armed society is a polite society 😬

Thankful I don't live in Florida.

Depends where you live. If you live in a like minded community with law abiding people, it’s fine. If you live among criminals elements, then you’ve advertised too much information.

making yourself a target to criminals.

I think you should be allowed to open carry. I think you're a fucking moron if you open carry.

@HarperLee6557 I'm totally in support of open carry.

Open carry?

We have it in Arizona. Not a big deal! In fact when people realize that most people here carry not so much stupid stuff goes on. Simple!

He is not hurting anyone. The only way to lower crime is for criminals to fear their victims. Criminals don’t fear the police.

It is tactically unsound. It draws first fire from a bad actor to eliminate the obvious threat. It puts you at risk of someone grabbing your gun and using it against you. While I agree with it as an expression of a Constitutional right, it’s not a defensive approach I recommend.

I'm in FL. I don't have a problem with the law, but I'd never choose to open carry. I don't feel compelled to advertise that I carry and I don't want to make it easy for a bad guy to grab my gun, off of me.

It should be legal everywhere but cops should be able to stop and check to make sure you are legal to own a gun

they're just showing off. Arizona has had OC for ages. very few if any carry weapons like this. mostly just handguns. you sometimes get a weirdo who will walk around the airport with an AR but it's not common.

Open carry worries me. In crime-ridden cities it won’t be law-abiding citizens, but criminals and reckless people using it freely. With so many mass shootings, how can I tell the difference? I don’t want to live on guard every time I go out.
