It's leftism, not open-source that's censorious. It just so happens that the open-source community is rabidly leftist (as is the tech industry as a whole), which is why it is universally censorious.

Sucks, I just finally started to like gnome after finding the extensions I like and using mostly keyboard shortcuts. With even the kernel being tainted by wokeness its quite disappointing.

I cannot stress how important this is. We need to get the word out. Current maintainers need to learn that the world does not spin around their ideals o ideas. Open source needs to be open thinking and open expression as well.
