Alright, let’s do a quick review of last night’s game between the Atlanta Dream, and the Minnesota Lynx because I am extremely busy today. What you witnessed last night……(and this is why I hate talking basketball with Caitlin Clark fans because they know jack NOTHING about the game of basketball)……….was the result of team meetings, walk-throughs, film sessions, and an ENTIRE GAME PLAN that was CENTERED around containing ONE player: Angel Reese. ————————————————- The plan was simple: 1. If the ball goes to Angel Reese in the post, immediately double and triple team her. No one player can stop her. 2. If a shot goes up, send FOUR BODIES to surround ANGEL REESE. No one player will keep her off the boards. No TWO players will keep her off the boards. We’ve TRIED that. ————————————————- I’ve attached two video clips from last night’s game: Clip 1: The ball goes to Angel Reese in the post. She is immediately triple-teamed. Why on God’s green EARTH would a WNBA team TRIPLE-TEAM a player who SUCKS?!!! Great question. Clip 2: A shot goes up. FOUR PLAYERS from the Minnesota Lynx ALL crash around Angel Reese, just as the team had discussed during their team planning sessions. Replay mode is so broken - There's a barrier preventing you from going to the ground (Bug since the start of CH7) - New UI is very buggy, Can't even navigate at some point - Won't open your main menu sometimes (Forcing you to restart the entire game) - Sun/Moon won't move till you press play (Bug since the start of CH6) - Re-winding/Fast-forwarding will 90% cause you to be stuck in the loading screen (Forcing you to restart the entire game) These are the bugs I've found so far and yet Fortnite/FortniteStatus hasn't been doing anything to fix these issues

This is a wild story. A TAMUCC player was HBP during a check swing and Nicholls challenged the ruling and the ruling was overturned as a dead ball strike... But check swings are NOT reviewable and TAMUCC protested the call. Nicholls went on to 'win' the game 11-7 but the Southland Conference reviewed the situation and deemed it an ineligible review so the game reverses to the exact moment of the play. All involved umpires will be suspended after the series.

Hills I will die on as someone who has coached high school football for over 29 years: 1. If you are not PASSIONATE about blessing, serving, and empowering those you are blessed to coach, this profession is not for you. 2. As much as we need to know our trade, getting to know (and to love), our players is far more important. 3. This is an INTENSE game, and it’ll never be “just a game”, but it IS a game. Remember that when you’re with your team, and more importantly, remember that when you’re with your family. 4. Just as we teach our athletes to “leave things better than they found them”, we need to leave our athletes better than they were when they first entered into our program. Never let a day pass without pouring into each and every individual. 5. Life is complicated enough, let’s not complicate the game in such a way that we take the joy of it away from others. In other words… Keep it simple. 6. Our words carry little (or NO), value, if we don’t practice what we preach. WE as coaches should be learning and growing each and every day, just as we expect our athletes to. 7. As much as we all want to win those championship rings for our athletes, make sure you don’t lose your wedding ring in the process. 8. The athlete that may be “difficult to reach/teach” (the one who may get on your last nerve more than you could ever imagine), is someone’s EVERYTHING. Get to know them as human beings, find out what motivates them, and do everything you can to help them to thrive. 9. Be where your feet are. Don’t fall into the trap of chasing logos and thinking that a higher division, a bigger school, or going from HS to college, or even college to the pros, is going to be more rewarding or fulfilling. 10. The legacy you leave as a coach will never be determined by your wins and losses, but by the lives you were able to change for the better!

You see whining about "clunky" old games because old games lack the player assists found in newgen games, which are literally designed for actual idiots on the assumption that the average player won't be able to learn how the game works for themselves. Almost every action game now has: >strong autotracking on attacks >tons of i-frames >no "checkmate" situations that are unrecoverable; endless mulligans so the player sees "you died/game over" as little as possible >no lives, timers, scoring, or any other hard constraints on the player; failure doesn't cost anything >multi-step actions triggered by single button presses like sliding/dashing to go faster, instant takedowns, etc; no need to combine multiple actions or learn any techniques like crouchjumping, bhopping, rocket/grenade jumping >"cinematic" boss fights where the core gameplay may be totally absent and the "fight" is relegated to QTEs >strong enemy leashing that keeps enemies in tiny areas, allowing you to whittle them down with no risk They are deliberately designing games to place as few expectations on the player as possible and when someone who has only experienced these new games is shown an old game without these "quality of life" features, they call it "clunky" because the game is designed to actually be played by the player.
