I am a visually impaired user who has experienced a significant transformation in work productivity thanks to the coding features of GitHub Copilot. However, one area where I feel GitHub Copilot could improve is the current inability for users to create and utilize sub-agents. When using Claude Code and OpenAI's Codex, I highly appreciated the workflow where users could generate sub-agents, allowing the main agent to orchestrate them. When multiple complex tasks are assigned to a single model, much like a human, it often forgets intermediate instructions and struggles to handle multi-faceted requirements effectively. I've found that separating tasks into specialized sub-agents—such as a Planning Agent, Code Implementation Agent, Code Review Agent, Testing Agent, and Design Verification Agent—truly maximizes both development efficiency and the quality of the final output.
