Osman Hadi worked as a teacher at a private university. He was preparing for the GRE and was planning to go abroad. During the period of fascism, people of Bangladesh felt like suppressed in their own country. Then July came, and Osman Hadi joined the July movement with his pregnant wife. By the end of July, political parties began to calculate their shares, and mass people returned home. But Osman Hadi stayed behind. Leaving his pregnant wife at home, he traveled from city to city and port to port, building the Inqilab Manch later Inqilab Cultural Centre Osman Hadi dreamed of a cultural revolution to awaken the Bengali Muslim cultural identity from Indian hegemony. During this time, Brother Hadi’s beautiful child was born. Even looking at his innocent child, Brother Hadi did not return home. He took upon his shoulders all the burdens of society and all of our responsibilities. He dreamed of building a Bangladesh based on justice and fairness. In this anti-domination march, Brother Hadi raised the very first flag with his own hands. Finally, Brother Hadi left us. How will Bangladesh bear the weight of such a heavy coffin? Brother Hadi, you have left us indebted to you. Your struggle was for us, for our unborn future, for our children. Brother Hadi, perhaps you did not even hold your ten-month-old child in your arms for ten hours. Brother Hadi’s struggle was for all of them -- for those who are countless, like ants on the soil, like fish in the sea, like birds in the sky; for the timid and the brave, for the illiterate and the educated, for those as innocent as children, for those who destroy, and for those who create.

I was assaulted while working on my daily news vlog in front of the Melbourne City Council, with multiple members of the Victoria Police force present. I had attended the public area in front of the council building as the MCC was debating a motion on a ceasefire in the Israel-Gaza conflict, aiming to cover a local news story as an independent journalist and a resident of the city of Melbourne. While working, a group of pro-Palestinian individuals openly harassed and intimidated me, as they did not approve of someone I know in the Victorian Jewish community. Victoria Police told me to move to another side of the road, as the Pro Palestine group did not approve of my relationship with this Jewish individual. At that point, I contested the ridiculous move-on order for a journalist in Australia; however, I did move across to the other side of the road as it became apparent that the police were more comfortable blaming me than controlling the unruly mob. As I crossed over to the side of the road the police directed me to, I was followed by a group of Pro Palestinian protesters, after which one of them openly assaulted me in front of the police. I have attempted multiple times throughout today to provide a statement to the Victoria Police; however, I have yet to be contacted, even though they witnessed the assault on the night it occurred and noted it as an unlawful assault in an incident report. I've tried my best to compile the circumstances of my assault and the failure of the Victoria Police to act. On the night of the incident, they were refusing my requests to identify the masked attacker who was present, citing fear of the mob.

I went sourcing for my rent, and I came back home a Landlord. My rent was due since March, I had pleaded with the landlord to give me some time to sort it out, and he had been patient. Business was not doing very well, and we were depending on my wife’s earnings to survive. I have a big brother who grew up in our neighbourhood. He was an artist at the time, and I used to hang around him while he worked. I developed an interest in artwork because of him, and he was my inspiration for studying sculpture and other art forms, which led me to become who I am today. This man had become a politician in another state. I had not seen him in several years, but we exchange messages via text and WhatsApp once in a while, especially regarding some artworks and politics. I never gave him the impression that I was struggling because I felt it would affect our relationship but I was desperate this time around and decided to go and see him. During the Night of Glory, as we ministered to the Lord and words of prophecy were being spoken, the man of God said “I have given it to you, I have supplied you with that heart desire. That thing you have been waiting for and trusting God for is now yours. Share your testimony with me when you receive it.” I heard these words from brother Gbenga, and I couldn’t relate. The only thing I had been thinking about in my heart was how to visit this mentor of mine and ask him for support regarding my rent. I decided that the prophecy was a green light for me to take a step of faith I gathered as much money as my wife could loan me and travelled to this man’s state. I deliberately targeted the primary election period when I was sure he would have to be on the ground in his state and not in Abuja. I met him at home; he had just won his primary election and was in a very good mood. He felt i came around to give him moral support. Later that evening, I told him about my rent issue. He made two calls and told me to go and pick up the keys to the house in Lagos. He also gave me some money to settle all the estate bills and meet other needs. Above all, he gave me a contract that will keep me and my team occupied with good income for a very long time. This is how God turned my story to a song of victory. I picked up the keys to the house yesterday. Glory!!!!!

Dear Arabs and Muslims, I just back from Israel, and my life will never be the same. I thought I was going to be met with pure racism, and then came to see that half of Israelis look just like me. I thought I was going to be treated as a terrorist, but I was met with kindness and hospitality. I thought I was going to experience apartheid, but I saw people from different backgrounds co-existing in peace together. I thought I was going to see hatred against Muslims, but I met dozens of Muslims who love Israel and are proud of their country. I thought I was going to meet angry Jews who hate all the goys and want to manipulate them, but I was met by a kind people who are struck by grief and terror. Every street I visited in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv has a story of a terror attack. In every cafe I sat in, I was told ”A Jew was stabbed right here”, and ” A shooting happened on the other side of this street a few months ago.” Throughout this trip, I have been ex-communicated by close-minded friends and family members. But you know what? It was worth it. Because I got to see Israel and experience the truth about the country that I was indoctrinated to hate for myself. I wish that my friends and family members would also be able to visit Israel and see the beauty and hospitality of the country like I did. I was able to swiftly visit Israel because of my Swedish passport – I won’t deny my privileges. But I also have the elusive privilege of humanizing both Israelis and Arabs. I had the greatest privilege of meeting, and seeing and talking to Israelis, whom I had learned to hate since I was a child. I am so happy to have cleansed the hatred out of my soul. I wish that the Muslim and Arab communities could do the same. Nothing good can ever come out of hatred, violence, and terrorism. And now, having been in Israel, I cannot stress enough how much it saddens me that my culture and my people have learned to hate this country and these people. To all the Israelis who have opened their hearts and homes to me and showed me their beautiful country - thank you.

🔥🚨BREAKING: The Wireless Festival just announced that Kanye West will remain as their headliner despite losing their top sponsors and is asking people to show forgiveness amid boycotts from sponsors. Managing Director of Festival Republic Melvin Benn: “I am a deeply committed anti-fascist and have been all my adult life. I lived on a kibbutz for many months in the 1970’s that was attacked on October 7th, am pro Jew and the Jewish state, while being equally committed to a Palestinian state. Having had a person in my life for the last 15 years who suffers from mental illness, I have witnessed many episodes of despicable behaviour that I have had to forgive and move on from. If I wasn’t before, I have become a person of forgiveness and hope in all aspects of my life, including work. “What Ye has said in the past about Jews and Hitler is as abhorrent to me as it is to the Jewish community, the Prime Minister and others that have commented and taking him at his word to Ye now also. “Ye’s music is played on commercial radio stations in this country. It is available via live streams and downloads in this country without comment or vitriol from anyone and he has a legal right to come into the country and to perform in this country. He is intended to come in and perform. We are not giving him a platform to extol opinion of whatever nature, only to perform the songs that are currently played on the radio stations in our country and the streaming platforms in our country and listened to and enjoyed by millions. “Forgiveness and giving people a second chance are becoming a lost virtue in this ever-increasing divisive world and I would ask people to reflect on their instant comments of disgust at the likelihood of him performing (as was mine) and offer some forgiveness and hope to him as I have decided to do”

VIDEO | Delhi: On the split in the TMC, party MP Shatrughan Sinha said, “First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to the people of Asansol and West Bengal for giving me immense love, respect and support, and for ensuring my victory time and again. I first came to Asansol at Didi (Mamata Banerjee’s) invitation and on her instructions. In my very first election there, I secured a record-margin victory in what was the country’s first by-election at the time. Later, I also won a second time with a significant margin. Therefore, I would especially like to thank Mamata ji, the Trinamool Congress, and above all, the people of Asansol and West Bengal. I want to make it clear that I have always worked for everyone in Bengal, regardless of which party they belong to or whether they voted for me or not. I understand my responsibilities and will continue to fulfil them." He adds, "When I was going through a difficult phase after losing the Patna election in 2019, very few people stood by me. Mamata Banerjee was among the few who supported and encouraged me. She believed I should continue in public life without any gap in my parliamentary journey, and it was on her direction that I contested from Asansol. By God’s grace, and with the support of Mamata ji and the people of Asansol, I achieved victory. For the past few days, there has been a lot of speculation about me. Some people are speaking the truth, while others are spreading rumours. Some have claimed that I have joined the so-called rebel group. Yes, by nature I have always been outspoken. I often say that if speaking the truth is considered rebellion, then I am also a rebel. I have always spoken frankly and called a spade a spade. But I want to state clearly that Mamata ji stood by me during my difficult times, and today, in her difficult phase, I cannot abandon her. I was elected on the Trinamool Congress symbol - the ‘Jora Phool’ - not once but twice, with the blessings of God. Therefore, it is my duty and responsibility to stand with Mamata ji and the Trinamool Congress...my principle is very clear: when Mamata ji stood by me in my difficult times, it is now my duty to stand by her in this moment as well.” (Full video available on PTI Videos -

Ricky Williams says he sold his Heisman Trophy after an IRS letter claiming he hadn't paid taxes in 3 years revealed his financial advisor stole more than $6,000,000 “Summer of 2013, I got a letter from the IRS that said I hadn't paid taxes in three years. I got this letter and I'm thinking to myself, this isn't true. My accountant, Peggy, we've talked about taxes, and I know I filed” “I send the letter to Peggy, and we have a conversation. She says, ‘Oh, you were audited, and they're trying to figure things out.’ I was thinking this is kind of fishy. So I started talking to my attorney, and he said, ‘This seems kind of fishy’” “I put them on it, and over the next couple of months, I came to realize that the FBI was investigating my financial advisor. I thought I had upwards of six or seven million dollars in the bank, I actually didn't have any money” “I was in this moment of what I am going to do. I was sitting in my office and I looked around. I had art that I'd purchased over the years on the walls, and I had a bunch of trophies behind me. I realized, I'm good” “I called up a friend of mine who does my memorabilia deals, I let him know the deal and said if there's anyone you know that would be interested, I'm definitely open to taking offers” “I was able to sell a couple of trophies and some artwork and really get back on my feet and keep my life moving instead of things crumbling. It was one of the ways that winning the Heisman Trophy was able to take care of me later in life. I sold it for $240,000”
