BVAS isn't recognising elderly people, and only three persons have cast their votes since 8:30a.m., says Channels TV correspondent Kumbi Aboluwade. She noted that though voting commenced at exactly 8:30a.m., initially, the presiding officer tried to make it easier for elderly people and pregnant women to cast their votes, but this delayed the voting process. Channels TV correspondent, Kumbi Aboluwade, is live at Ugele/Arokun Ward [polling unit 006] in Ikere Local Government Area (LGA), Ekiti State, for the governorship election. #EkitiElection #EkitiDecides2026

Excerpt from my speech at Dungun Muazu ward, Sabuwa Local Government, Katsina State. The ward was said to be a no-go area because of the activities of the criminal elements, but no danger could stop us from visiting to see for ourselves the condition in which our people lived.

So I was asked to share this by a local from Kilkenny city. One of the men staying in IPAS accomodation approached his car and started leering in the window at his 9 year old girl. It is not the first report we've received of harassment in the area. #IrelandisFull

ICE detains man at Texas polling place during voting hours—now voters worried for midterms. "It's intimidation against the voters," said witness. "Are we now going to have to carry passports to be safe when we vote?" At least 9 agents swarmed the parking lot where voting was taking place inside the library. ICE does not accuse the man of trying to vote illegally—saying it was just an arrest that just so happened to be at a polling place. Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar later arrived on the scene and told any federal agents to leave the polling area. "Our officer left after realizing the marked unit might be an 'aggravating factor' for voters," he said. "But I want to try and assure the general public that we want you to go out and vote." Incident occurred at the Las Palmas Branch Library in San Antonio, Texas.
