Gas shortage is affecting livelihoods of poor auto drivers of Karnataka. Alarming situation in Bengaluru as many auto drivers are no longer on roads. They have queued up outside gas staions. This video was recorded at 11 pm last night at Hoodi in Whitefield. There was a km long queue with gas station already closed with ropes. The situation in the morning was no different instead the queue was longer as there was no gas. Pictures of the same in the thread. 👇

I'm concerned the government is approving new fossil fuel projects against advice from scientists and expert bodies when we have enough gas for the transition and countries like Japan are now exporting more gas than we send them. Why is the govt turning a blind eye to trading partners on-selling our gas at a profit while 🇦🇺 households + businesses pay record prices for our own gas?! We don't have a gas shortage, we have a gas export problem. The solution is to redirect all uncontracted gas to the domestic market.
