6 Years Ago - August 10, 2020 Derecho: The costliest derecho on record impacted much of the Midwest through the morning and afternoon hours six years ago today. This destructive MCS produced an extreme swath of severe winds, with a peak wind gust report of 126mph near Atkins, Iowa. 27 tornadoes were confirmed from the complex, most of them in Northern Illinois. Unfortunately, 4 fatalities were confirmed from the complex. This derecho resulted in over $11 billion in damages.

Greetings from Crimea, "Kara-Dag"! The Ministry of Defense showed the work of our aviation on the 15th separate operational brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine (also known as "Kara-Dag"). Annovka, DPR - a drone control point. Dobropillia, DPR - a temporary dislocation point for the personnel of the same brigade. "Kara-Dag" was formed in Zaporizhia under the motto "Let's raise the flag over Crimea". The flag over Crimea was never raised. But they did raise dust over Annovka and Dobropillia.

Captured from our recent trip to the Serengeti. We had just returned from the bush, after almost getting stuck in a thunderstorm. On our way back to our lodging, we came across the craziest sunset of our lives. The glowing sky coupled with a herd of zebras and lighting bolts striking the savannah was a evening I'll remember forever! 😍💞
