Driving on the Moon starts with one question: what are we driving on? 🚧 In the latest episode of Austin Explains, we go behind the scenes at NASA's Kennedy Space Center's SwampWorks for the latest updates on Redwire's lunar infrastructure technology, Mason. The NASA Moon Base will be the home where Artemis astronauts live and work, and Mason is built to support landers, rovers, or robotic arms, transforming lunar or martian regolith into a durable, concrete‑like material. This is the foundation for habitats, landing pads, radiation shielding, and long‑term surface operations. Check out how new testing is bringing lunar construction one step closer to reality.

For the first time since 1972, astronauts are on their way to the moon. NASA's Artemis 2 mission successfully launched last night and will go on a 10 day mission, though they won't land on the moon this time, instead looping around it and then back to Earth. This mission is part of NASA's preparations for deep-space missions - with landings on the surface and even a lunar base being planned in the coming years. David Harper reports.

$ARTEMIS is a meme token on Solana tokenizing the historic milestones of NASA's Artemis Program. 8PpVGHnn3fNwoydMmYinRYAX1LrKQCExjVMBMzPQpump 🇺🇸 Basics: The Artemis space program was established in 2017 by the Trump administration with the goal of sending humans back to the Moon, creating a continuous presence (Moon base), and preparing for future Mars missions. It successfully achieved its first uncrewed space flight in 2022 (Artemis I). 🚀 Present: NASA aims to launch the first crewed deep-space mission around the Moon in April 2026 after more than 50 years. There is a high chance Donald Trump will attend the Artemis II launch and we expect Elon Musk to tweet "Godspeed Artemis" as he did in 2022. This 10-day mission from liftoff to splashdown will feature a 4K live stream from space with full media coverage. Humanity is on a Moon Mission. 🌕 Future: Artemis will return humans to the lunar surface in 2028. NASA has contracted Elon Musk’s SpaceX to develop the Human Landing System, using Starship for the Artemis III mission. A permanent Moon base and continuous Moon missions are planned through 2030. With $ARTEMIS, you have a ticket to the Moon Mission on Solana. Celebrate these events with the $ARTEMIS community and enjoy the media hype around the biggest events in the future of humanity.

🚨 NASA IS LIGHTING FIRES ON THE MOON — WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY HIDING UP THERE? This is becoming increasingly strange. While NASA and private companies push forward with new lunar missions, many are asking a serious question: Why are they conducting what appear to be fire or energy experiments on the moon? Some see it as nothing more than a massive money grab. Others like David Icke believe something far deeper is going on. That the moon may not be natural at all. That it was brought here, could be hollow, and is being used as a massive sensor or control system for humanity. The moon has long been surrounded by anomalies that defy conventional explanation. The official narrative has more holes than it has answers. And many of the public faces of these missions look and feel more like actors than explorers. Why the hell is NASA lighting fires on the moon, and what are they really using it for?

Since the initial design of the modular FLEX rover, Astrolab has focused on developing a mobility solution to meet the near- and long-term needs of the lunar economy. Use cases include everything from transporting large payloads on the lunar surface in lander-agnostic containers to deploying essential lunar infrastructure. Activities like rolling out cables are crucial for establishing and connecting alternative power sources on the Moon. For example, cable roll-out is key in the deployment and operations of fission power systems and other critical infrastructure. Early in rover development, we performed field tests of custom payloads that could support power and comms infrastructure, collect samples, and facilitate the use of lunar resources. These tests informed the development of our design to ensure FLEX is as “flexible” as possible.

🚨 NASA ASTRONAUT ADMITS WE “DESTROYED” THE TECHNOLOGY USED TO GO TO THE MOON — AND CAN’T FIND THE ORIGINAL DATA In old resurfaced footage, NASA astronaut Dan Pettit says: “I’d go to the Moon in a nanosecond. The problem is we don’t have the technology to do that anymore. We used to, but we destroyed that technology, and it’s a painful process to build it back again.” Then it escalates. Apollo Flight Director Gene Kranz on the original telemetry tapes: “I haven’t seen anything that indicates the telemetry data is even in existence... and even if we had it, we don’t have the machines to play it back.” And NASA archivist Dr. David Williams: “We’ve been unable to track it down… we don’t know where this telemetry data ended up… and whether it still exists or not.” So here’s what’s being said: The lunar production capability was dismantled. The specialized tooling was retired. The original telemetry tapes can’t be located with certainty. And the playback systems no longer exist. How do you ‘destroy’ moon technology and misplace the mission data?
