No Tulsi, the 2nd was passed to allow a public militia to arm itself "in service to the new government"; to protect it; to preserve the Union. The right to bare arms within a well regulated milita shall not be infringed. Know your history before trying to teach it!

The second amendment calls for a well regulated militia. It was passed so that we as a nation can defend ourselves having just won the war of independence. It is not about an 18-year-old being able to have an AR 15!

Exactly Tulsi. Nobody has the right to tell me how, when, and if I have the right to defend my gift of life and the lives of my loved ones. This right should be inherent with the gift of life. Nobody should be able to take away this right. Our forefathers were a truly wise.
