These things would end up the bowing everything on earth, and then they turned to the humans, so there was no other choice, but to save whatever God could, but many still remain.

I think it is such a tree/plant that grew without branches or leaves. Therew as no power to cut down such massive tree. it is its original shape. Then it became calcified, turn to rock. But also reminds of material squeesed through meat grinder.
