Interesting how 'official history' always looks perfectly packaged until you stumble upon places like this. Abandoned whaling stations in Antarctica, rusty tanks, broken buildingsโ€ฆ all from the early 1900s they say. Yet somehow it feels like we're only being shown the chapters that fit the approved narrative. The rest? Conveniently 'lost' or never mentioned. Everything feels like a carefully constructed story once you start looking closer. How much of what we call history is just the version that keeps the illusion alive?

The whole place was mapped. Whaling stations were allowed and operated in and around Antarctica. It's not a secret. There is also weird shit there and most modern horror is from stories from this continent.

How does a whaling camp in Antartica make our history a complete lie?
