There used to be a time where fighting in the Frostlands with your light saber was actually a challenge.. Now, you can fight the new brute with a weak 4 star weapon and defeat them before your stamina needs to recharge. LEGO Fortnite , LEGO Fortnite Status PLEASE, for the sake of your entire community, stop listening to the reddit when it comes to combat. Combat is such a crucial aspect of making this game fun, and nerfing enemies and buffing weapons to make the combat EASY, even when on EXPERT is a problem.

(IGN First) No Rest for the Wicked is more Dark Souls than Diablo. 👀 • Combat is deliberate and tactical with a health bar and stamina bar. • Goal was to make combat feel less spammy than traditional ARPGs. • Boss fights. • Wide variety of weapons (daggers, hammers, bows and more). • Each unique weapon can also have different stats and enchantments to set them apart. • Each weapon has different runes which unlock combos. • Cook food BOTW style for heals. • Instead of mana there's a Focus meter, which increases as you do better in combat. • Every class uses Focus for their special abilities. • Gameplay showcase coming March 1st.

A question I often ask ballplayers: What is the most important time during a game? Answers I often get are the beginning of the game, the last few innings of the game, or any big moment in the game. All good answers, but all wrong answers. THE MOST important time of the game is the time in between pitches. Ballplayers should be looking to win this time by being in complete control of their breath, self-talk, and focus. As the great Ken Ravizza would often say, “You have to control yourself so that you can control your performance.” Well, when you control and WIN the time in between pitches, you drastically increase your odds for success, especially if your competition isn’t doing that. So, the next time you step on the field, be on purpose with what you do in between pitches. Your results will no longer happen by accident…they will happen by intention. *The same applies to the time in between shots, plays, etc., based on whatever sport you play.

Played like 4 hours of ghost of yotei today. The game is aggresively mid. Story is alright, nothing outstanding so far. Average revenge plot. The combat wants to be a duel, where you are able to strike, block and parry, and can learn even more things thoughtout the game. You get dual katana's very early on, with an option to swap between one blade and two blades. BUT, the game FORCES you which weapon to use against which enemy weapon. (solo blade against katana wielders, dual blades against spear wielders) The game has WAY too many gimmicks and mini games, that seemingly are only there to show you what your PS5 controller can do and to artifically inflate the time you spend in the game. Instead of feeling immersed, it's unneccessary and a literal waste of time. For example, when camping in the open world, you have to start up your own fire by swiping up many times and hitting R2 over and over again. You have to cook your food by using the gyoroscope of the controller and physically moving it down. Sure, cute gimmick, but no actual purpose was served, and havng to do this every single time, is just a waste of time. 80 bucks for this is a waste, do not spend your money on this, don't even buy it on a sale lol, just replay the original.

🔥 ASTRAE ORATIO, NEW LIVE FIGHT GAMEPLAY The more I watch the combat, the more interesting it gets. Even though you build a 3 character team, only 1 character fights on the field at a time, turning battles into fast 1v1 magical duels. And there is more going on underneath: ✅ Enemy attacks have different warning types ✅ Some attacks can be interrupted by attacking first ✅ Others require a timed Counter Skill ✅ Counter timing changes depending on the enemy ✅ Some powerful attacks CANNOT be interrupted at all, forcing you to prepare, defend or swap characters ✅ Certain skills can be charged or chained into combos ✅ AoE attacks can even damage characters who are currently off field One detail I really like, once you learn an enemy well enough, you can apparently time counters from their actual attack animation instead of relying only on the timing gauge. So while Astrae Oratio is built on a turn based foundation, the combat is clearly trying to make you constantly read the enemy and react instead of just selecting skills from a menu. 🎥 New live gameplay from the latest playable build.
