During the meeting with the CEOs of leading Czech defense companies, we discussed cooperation in the defense industry and how Ukrainian-Czech collaboration and joint production can guarantee security and prevent a recurrence of aggression on the European continent. I am grateful for the trust in Ukraine and for the implementation of joint projects. We value the participation of Czech companies in the initiative to supply 155 mm ammunition. The consolidation of European countries’ defense industrial potential is a significant contribution to achieving a just and lasting peace.

Today, I had a substantive meeting with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Our main objective right now is to stop Russian terror and force Russia into peace. We discussed the development of defense cooperation. Collaboration in this area will allow Ukraine to receive stable funding for important projects, particularly the production of interceptor drones and long-range drones. There is a good outcome from today’s meeting – an additional decision on joint production. I believe it will strengthen both of our countries. Special attention was paid to bolstering our air defense. We also have agreements on this. Thank you! An important issue is the introduction of new sanctions against Russia. Pressure must be applied to the energy and banking sectors, the shadow fleet, the companies that supply dual-use components used in the production of drones and missiles, as well as all those involved in the production of the “Oreshnik” missile system. The visit to Denmark begins with an important step for our defense. An agreement has been reached on Ukrainian-American cooperation in drone production, including interceptor drones — a crystal clear priority. We have signed an agreement with the robust American company Swift Beat, and it foresees hundreds of thousands of drones this year alone, with the potential to significantly scale up production in the coming year.
