How do you stop a fiber-optic drone that is immune to EW? The answer is kinetic — you have to shoot it down. But hitting such a small, high-speed target has been the primary bottleneck for defenders. A Brave1 participant has developed a solution: a compact, AI-powered turret that detects, tracks, and neutralizes drones autonomously. The operator simply authorizes the strike. Of course, the turret is not limited to countering fiber-optic drones — it effectively downs FPVs, Molniyas and other UAV that the enemy deploys against our forces. Hezbollah’s fiber-optic FPV drones, which cost under $500, are disabling Israeli Merkava tanks worth $5 to 7 million. The IOF does not have a single weapon in their arsenal that can detect these new drones, which are completely immune to traditional electronic jamming devices. It’s not about Blackrock, or CBDCs or the filthy broken fiat system - it’s about an alternative to that. A lot of people can point to many broken things in our world. And the root of what is broken is because of the broken money system. The money system is broken. There is death and destruction because of a broken money system and what this technology represents is something different than that. It’s an alternate to that. And that’s what makes it unique and that’s what makes it valuable.”

The second example was more successful a “Baba Yaga” drone was able to confuse the operator of an anti-drone interceptor that was attempting to shoot it down. For now, this cannot be called widespread, but in the future such a blinding system may become an effective method of countering FPV drones, especially fiber-optic-guided ones, which cannot be jammed by electronic warfare at all. And, as can be seen, the system can be installed on both ground and aerial platforms. So it turns out the outdated Passive Protection Systems (PPS) like the Shtora-1 so common in the late Soviet/Russian/Ukranian like the T-90A are state of the art now.
