//The Wire//2300Z October 2, 2025// //ROUTINE// //BLUF: TERROR ATTACK STRIKES MANCHESTER. FAKE ACTIVE SHOOTER CALLED IN AT NEW JERSEY MILITARY BASE. BOMB THREAT DISRUPTS SERVICES AT MIAMI CHURCH.// -----BEGIN TEARLINE----- -International Events- United Kingdom: This morning a complex terror attack was carried out in Manchester. One assailant began the initial phase of the attack by ramming his vehicle into the perimeter fence at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue. Once the vehicle came to a halt, the attacker exited the vehicle and attempted to gain entry to the facility. Police were immediately on scene, and as the crowd scattered, police were able to corner the assailant. The attacker attempted to detonate a suicide belt that he was wearing, but the S-Belt did not explode (the belt was determined later to be either fake or not a viable explosive). A few moments later, the suspect was shot by armed police, ending the attack. Concerning casualties, 2x people were killed and 3x others wounded during the attack. Analyst Comment: The attacker (who has not yet been identified) was probably targeting Yom Kippur events (which is today). Some time after the incident, two other individuals were reportedly arrested in conjunction with this incident a short distance from the initial attack site. However the status of these individuals is unknown, along with how these arrests are related to the initial attack. -HomeFront- New Jersey: Yesterday afternoon a fake active shooter incident was called in at JB McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. Local authorities arrested Malika Brittingham (a civilian employee working for the US Navy) for calling in the fake active shooting, which resulted in the base locking down and local schools enacting active shooter protocols. Authorities state that Brittingham called in the active shooter because she was feeling ostracized by her coworkers, and that faking the active shooting would allow her to "trauma bond" with her fellow employees. Washington D.C. - Politics continues as the government remains shut down. This morning, several media outlets claimed to have access to a leaked letter that was sent from the White House to Congress. The letter allegedly contains a notice to Congress that the United States is now involved in a "noninternational armed conflict" regarding central/south American drug cartels. Analyst Comment: If this letter is being accurately described by journalists (which is a big "if"), this is quite the eyebrow-raising declaration. Since the letter itself is being withheld by media groups, there's no way to independently verify the information or if the context is being described accurately. Either way, the phrase "noninternational armed conflict" is an interesting choice of words as it sounds a lot like a war declaration without a war declaration. Until some level of clarification is obtained, it's all conjecture. However, the absolute lowest-hanging fruit of an assessment is that the conflict down south will not be ending or de-escalating anytime soon. Florida: Monday afternoon a man was arrested after making a bomb threat during the Liturgy at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church in Miami. This incident occurred on Sunday, however it's just now gaining wider attention due to the details of the case. Local authorities state that a man was clutching a backpack and was acting suspiciously during services on Sunday, which prompted a Deacon to approach the man. Upon making contact, the man handed the backpack to the Deacon, and stated that it was a bomb. The Deacon took the backpack, which was making a ticking noise, and placed off to the side of the nave. The church was not evacuated, and services continued as before. After a few minutes, a loud, piercing alarm was emitted from the suspect (which later was revealed to be the suspect's phone), along with an audible countdown to detonation. After a few more minutes, the man who brought the bomb suddenly ran to where the backpack was being stored, and placed his phone inside the bag. Services were allowed to finish, and at the end the would-be bomber (who remained unsubdued inside the church throughout the incident), stood up and shouted Allahu Akbar before departing. The man was arrested the following day, and was subsequently identified as Isaac Lopez, a Cuban national. After some time the bomb squad cleared the device as being fake, and the suspect was booked only on misdemeanor charges, and held under a $7,650 bond. No word yet on if any federal terrorism charges will be filed. -----END TEARLINE----- Analyst Comments: If this incident had been real, this would have been a mass casualty event and MANY lives would likely have been lost. While hindsight is 20/20, theses types of incidents have already become far too common for anyone to take these threats lightly. As a reminder, a very similar situation occurred at St. Michael's Abbey in California less than a month ago, in which a mentally ill man with a vehicle full of weapons entered the Church and told the Priest that he was there to conduct a mass shooting. In the interest of time, we cannot wait months to examine every minute detail of this case; this is not to judge or nitpick the actions of the day callously, but to rapidly understand this event so that lives could be saved, if next time the bomb is real. Speculating a bit regarding this specific case, it is possible that Church leadership thought they were dealing with a potential mental illness situation, and that making a fuss would make the situation worse. This is becoming very common during church services all around the US, so this is understandable. However, all bets are off when someone says "I have a bomb", and their backpack is ticking. At that point we transition into the realm of counterterrorism, which many Church staff members are simply not experienced in managing (understandably so). In that respect, a basic understanding of what to do during a bomb threat is crucial. The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Administration has produced both a Bomb Threat Guide and a Bomb Threat Checklist for those to use who do not have a counterterrorism background. These guides may be of use for Churches who do not have experience with such threats, and are linked below. But again, in the interest of time a quick and dirty explanation of what to do is as follows: 1. If a bomb is discovered DO NOT touch or move it. 2. Calmly but immediately vacate the premises. 3. Isolate the suspected explosive device (i.e. prevent others from going near it). 4. If the terrorist is on site and is an active and unchallenged threat, those who are so able must do what is necessary to save life and limb. 5. Once clear of the structure, call 911 as soon as possible to report the incident. Regarding the potential attacker, whatever means necessary should be undertaken to prevent the terrorist from re-gaining access to the bomb; allowing a terrorist to tinker with a potential explosive device in a packed Church is the least desirable possibility, and should be avoided at all costs. Considering that rapid, unplanned evacuations are not something that Churches may be familiar with, it will be up to the Deacons or the Priest to organize an efficient and calm evacuation outside. A good rule of thumb is that the blast zone for an IED is always bigger than you think it will be, and flying debris will be a threat for a considerable distance. As such, do not simply mill about immediately outside the front doors, but transition to a safe zone some distance away from the structure if able. If a scenario arises where a Church official is handed a potential explosive device, place the device on the ground as gently as possible and rapidly vacate the area. Homemade explosives are usually unstable and likely to go off with the slightest provocation, so moving the device at all is ill advised while the Church is being evacuated. Parishioners should refrain from using their cell phones until clear of the blast zone, as if the bomb has a radio-based trigger the use of cell phones might prematurely detonate the device. For any churches that have on-site security that use radios, the use of radio comms is also not recommended for the same reasons. Specifically with regards to the special considerations presented to religious institutions, and also understanding that services are a Holy time for worship, if there ever were a more pressing moment to interrupt a Priest during services, it would be when there is a clear and present bomb threat actively unfolding inside the Church. This would warrant the Priest delicately but firmly being made aware of the situation so that the facility can be evacuated promptly. Analyst: S2A1 Research: //END REPORT//

Listen, I don’t know shit about fuck, but here is my honest critique: Ditch the bag, get a good holster and belt system, carry on body. I use a Bawidamann Gotham + Viking Tatics CCW belt and inner belt all day. If you’re going to temple index, meat of the palm on your temple, not muzzle next to Tempe. That was dangerous and silly. We leave our non shooting hand free, it’s not a two handed maneuver. Shit happens. The drill should’ve been stopped immediately there and corrected. Get to cover for a reload, don’t dance around, that mag on the ground is gone, try to be cognizant of your guns condition if you’re doing an emergency reload versus topping off... You can simulate cover with a barricade/change in elevation. Try to use workspace to get it done efficiently. You still need to earn that space back when the gun is back in the fight. We fight, assess, and scan. Take cover, top off, trade up, take off, treat injuries, talk to who needs to be talked to. Deliberately and violently. You look super tense. I think it’s time to slow down and start with the fundamentals. Everything else is a distraction. The drill itself, shooting from retention, is valuable. However there is work to be done to make this applicable IMHO. Otherwise it’s fanfare. I like to start this drill with my non firing hand on my head and elbow extended to the target in a block, then a single handed draw and shooting from retention that is high and tight as possible, otherwise you risk losing that gun. If you want some real practical training, go down to AZ and hit a two day with Warlizard Tactical. In time you will see. It’s a journey, we all grow. I can’t recommend them enough. Good on your for getting out there an training. Here’s some close up stuff and some temple index:

THIS INCREDIBLE REAL LIFE DETECTIVE STORY is still officially a mystery: so let's solve it today. Who blew up a planeload of Hong Kong passengers on their ways to a conference at which the Chinese premier was due to speak? In this report, on the 71st anniversary of that mass murder in April 1955, you and I are going to find the answer. . THE TIME BOMB At 1.26 pm on the 11th of April 1955, a plane bearing the name “Kashmir Princess” left Hong Kong’s Kai Tak airport. Many of the passengers were journalists on a working trip to cover a meeting of Asian leaders, including Chinese premier Zhao Enlai and Indonesia’s Sukarno. But five hours later, air traffic controllers lost contact with the plane, and it failed to arrive at its destination, Bandung, Indonesia. Investigators found that the plane had been carrying a time bomb – which exploded, sending the aircraft into the sea. One of only three survivors, Anant Karnik, told a horrific story of explosions, and the plane crashing, leaving him in the ocean surrounded by burning wreckage, flames 20 meters high. . ‘CAREFULLY PLANNED MASS MURDER’ Chinese civil servants said the mass killing was a joint operation by the United States and Taiwan. “This unfortunate incident was certainly not a usual aircraft accident, but a murder by the special service organizations of the United States and Chiang Kai-shek,” the Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a statement. The Americans dismissed the claim. No proof, they said. Investigations by British Hong Kong police and Indian detectives showed that a time bomb had been placed in the wheelbase of the aircraft at Kai Tak airport in what they described as “carefully planned mass murder”. . THE AIRCRAFT CLEANER A month later, on the 18th of May, Hong Kong police zeroed in on their chief suspect: a 34-year-old aircraft cleaner named Chow Tse-ming, known to have consorted with a Taiwanese spy in the city. But as they arrived arrest him, he vanished—and flew out of the city on a flight to Taiwan by an airline called Civil Air Transport. He could not be extradited, so British Hong Kong police were forced to close the case. . ‘NOTHING TO SEE HERE’ Several years later, a Senate committee heard that CIA bosses had suggested that an East Asian leader be assassinated “to disrupt an impending Communist Conference in 1955”. This was clearly the Bandung Conference, misrepresented. An assassination plan had been created but then dropped, CIA representatives said. So the Senate team moved on to discuss other issues. Nothing to see there. . DETAILS AT LAST But in 1977, retired CIA agent William Corson, who had worked in Hong Kong, revealed that the rumours of an assassination attempt were true and the target was China’s Zhao Enlai. A quarter of a century later, in 2004, the Chinese government’s 30-year declassification system triggered the release of a new batch of files. They confirmed that Premier Zhou Enlai had been booked to fly on that specific Air India plane, the Kashmir Princess, from Hong Kong, on that date. But Chinese agents had detected that the US had plans to assassinate him. He changed his plans, instead flying to Rangoon to meet the leaders of India and Burma, before travelling onwards to Bandung from a different direction. . SOLVING THE MYSTERY Let’s look back at the clues. As the plane’s pilots dined at Hong Kong airport on that day in 1955, a mysterious man approached them with questions about the flight. Suspicious, they sent him away. After recovering the wreckage, investigators noted that the bomb and the timing device were “Made in the USA”. Hong Kong police found out how much the airport cleaner had been paid – a huge sum, far more than a Taiwan spy could have afforded. In 1967, a retired CIA agent wrote a book of memoirs, recalling a mission to deliver explosives—for use on a Hong Kong flight in 1955. Most damning of all, investigators eventually learned that the entire airline on which the bomber had escaped, Civil Air Transport, was fake—it had been set up by the CIA to move staff around East Asia. Put these and other clues together, and our cold case is solved.

🎬 In Moscow, a documentary about North Koreans who liberated the town of Sudzha in Kursk Oblast from occupation was shown for the first time. The premiere of the film "Korean Special Forces" took place at the Museum of Victory. The documentary showed the training of North Korean special forces in the forests of Kursk, and the process of learning how to work with UAVs. On the walls of the dugouts were drawings of fallen soldiers who blew themselves up with a grenade. "To be captured means betrayal in our army," a soldier says in the film. According to Vedomosti, after the screening, the DPRK side presented its documentary, filmed by North Korean war correspondents in Sudzha. It told the stories of some of the deceased: Pak Chun-guk, 18 years old "Seeing his comrades who came to rescue him after being wounded in the arm and leg fall under enemy fire, he shouted: "Don't come near!" and died heroically, detonating a grenade." Yun Jong-hyok, 20 years old, and U Wi-hyok, 19 years old "While rescuing the bodies of comrades who fell in battle, they were seriously wounded. Surrounded by the enemy, they embraced and died heroically together, detonating a grenade." Rim Hong-nam, 20 years old "While carrying out a mission to clear the way and demine, and seeing that the time of the attack was approaching, he threw himself onto a minefield and paved the way with his body, dying a heroic death." Kim Hak-chol, 32 years old "When his comrades came to rescue him after he fell from an enemy drone strike, he exclaimed: "Complete the combat mission of the unit!" - and, shooting himself in the head with a machine gun, he died heroically in battle." Kim Chol-gi, 38 years old "Even after his arm was torn off as a result of an enemy drone attack, he did not leave the battlefield and fought bravely. Then he shielded his comrades from machine-gun fire with his body, saved them, and died heroically in battle." Ro Nam-sok, 41 years old "When the attack was thwarted by enemy machine-gun fire, he, clutching a grenade, began to approach the enemy firing point. Having received 16 bullet wounds that shattered his arms and legs, he nevertheless fought to the end, destroyed the firing point, and died heroically in battle." - FRWL

Manhattan, New York — An unidentified man deployed an incendiary device outside 26 Federal Plaza in Lower Manhattan on the morning of July 20, 2026, prompting a large emergency response and a federal investigation. The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 a.m. outside the Jacob K. Javits Federal Office Building, which houses the FBI's New York Field Office, the local U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office, an immigration court, and several other federal agencies. In a statement, the FBI said: “This morning an individual deployed an incendiary device outside of 26 Federal Plaza. The individual has been taken into custody and the FBI New York Joint Terrorism Task Force is investigating the incident.” According to law enforcement sources, the suspect pushed a cart displaying a sign that read “ICE off our streets.” Authorities said the cart contained fireworks and two long firearms that appeared to be airsoft or pellet guns. Investigators believe the suspect ignited the fireworks, possibly using a flammable liquid, creating flames and smoke near the building's entrance. Officials also reported that the suspect allegedly threatened pedestrians with the apparent firearms before being taken into custody by federal officers near Worth Street and Centre Street. The NYPD Bomb Squad responded to assist at the scene. FBI Director Kash Patel said the incident resulted in two minor injuries. The New York City Fire Department (FDNY) reported that one person was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities said there were no serious injuries and no significant damage to the federal building. The FBI New York Joint Terrorism Task Force is leading the investigation. #police #cops #crime #policia #polizei #CrimeNews #FBI #DHS #ICE #NYC

The Invisible Bomb: Why the Christmas Day 2009 Plot Still Matters As we approach the anniversary of the failed Christmas Day attack, it is worth revisiting the 2009 “underwear bomber” plot, not as a historical footnote, but as a case study in how layered security can still fail and why al-Qaeda has not abandoned this line of effort. What is often overlooked is that this device did not pass through a single checkpoint. The failed suicide bomber, Umar Faruq, trained overseas in Yemen, returned to Africa with the device, and then traveled internationally with it—passing through security screening at three separate airports before boarding the U.S.-bound flight from Amsterdam to Detroit on December 25, 2009. At no point was the device detected. This was not an isolated screening failure. It reflected systemic vulnerabilities shared across multiple aviation security environments at the time: reliance on detection technologies optimized for conventional threats, limited ability to identify non-metallic explosives concealed on the body, and inconsistent integration of behavioral indicators and intelligence. Each layer assumed the previous one had worked. The device ultimately failed due to malfunction NOT because the system succeeded. For al-Qaeda, this was not a dead end. It became an obsession. Within the organization, variations of this device have been referred to as the “hidden bomb”—what Western services describe as the “invisible bomb.” Making this concept work has remained a persistent objective, not because it is new, but because it exposed how close they came to bypassing aviation security entirely. And they plan to do it again. Importantly, this effort has never been viewed by al-Qaeda as separate from the individual who carried it out. The bomber himself has remained both a symbolic and operational priority, with repeated interest in freeing him from U.S. custody and using his sacrifice to motivate the newest generation of aviation suicide bombers. These objectives underscore how this plot is viewed internally: unfinished business, not a failure. Even without the more recent innovations al-Qaeda and its affiliates have pursued in materials, concealment, tradecraft, and binary detonation, the core concept behind the 2009 device would still challenge security systems under the right conditions. Aviation security has improved, but it remains probabilistic as it is not applied equally even across U.S. airports, nor is it absolute. It continues to rely on intelligence integration, human judgment, and institutional memory. The lesson of Christmas Day 2009 is not simply that the attack failed. It is how close it came to succeeding, slipping through security apparatuses across multiple countries, and why adversaries continue to probe, study, and refine methods that exploit gaps, seams, and vulnerabilities rather than attempting to overpower defenses. It’s a clear reminder that a single failure can lead to disaster. Terrorist organizations remember that. The risk is that we forget.

I’m not trying to scare anyone, but this is really bad, and I have a feeling it won’t be the last one discovered. 🚨 An Underwater Grenade-Type IED BOMB was Discovered at Critical Drinking Water Dam in Mobile, Alabama On May 13, 2026, routine diver maintenance at the Converse Reservoir (J.B. Converse Reservoir / Big Creek Lake) dam in Mobile, Alabama, uncovered a grenade-type improvised explosive device (IED) sitting underwater at the dam base. The reservoir is the primary drinking water source for the Mobile area (350,000 customers, 60 million gallons/day). A coordinated multi-agency team (including FBI Bomb Squad, ALEA, Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, Mobile PD EOD, and Gulf Coast Regional Maritime Response and Render-Safe Team) safely retrieved and detonated the device off-site. The site is federally designated critical infrastructure; DHS was notified. Investigation is ongoing — no suspects, motive, or timeline for how/when the device was placed. 🔴 Several years ago, as we watched MILLIONS of illegal aliens come into this country through our wide open borders, I game theorized EXACTLY this scenario… multiple pre-planned, pre-staged attacks by gorilla warfare teams across the United States, all at the same time, on our critical infrastructure. In this game-theory scenario, I illustrated the asymmetric terrorism payoff— where low-cost coordination overwhelms literally everything and causes fallout unlike we have never seen before. 🔻 The Fallout, in Perspective: • Immediate (Hours–Days): Catastrophic flooding across Colorado, Columbia, Mississippi, Tennessee, and many other basins. • Mass casualties from floodwaves; millions evacuated; emergency response overwhelmed beyond understanding. • Water Crisis (Days–Years): Loss of supply to 100+ million. Contamination, disease, rationing, and interstate “water wars.” California irrigation collapse triggers national food shortages. • Energy Blackouts: Hydropower (key in West/PNW) gone → rolling blackouts, grid strain, industrial shutdowns all over the United States. • Economic/Infra Damage: Trillions lost (property, transport, agriculture, navigation). GDP hit exceeds major wars; rebuilding impossible at scale. • Environmental collapse, mass migration, civil strain, eroded public trust. Ecosystems wrecked for generations. THIS is how vulnerable we are. Every single critical DAM in the United States needs to be inspected immediately. Safeguards (long overdue) need to be put in place immediately. And it’s not just our dams… it’s also our electric grids. People have NO CLUE how vulnerable this stuff is, it is LAUGHABLE! Just to give one example, The Metcalf Sniper Attack (2013) In April 2013, attackers near San Jose, California, cut fiber-optic cables at a major PG&E substation, then fired over 100 rifle rounds into 17 large transformers. The site was down for weeks. The case remains UNSOLVED. Think about that. The point is… a small group of people (Illegal alien invaders? Or Rouge Gov agency?) can cause widespread blackouts, economic damage, without needing armies or high-tech weapons. We have millions of people in this country whom we have no idea where they come from, nor their intentions. We have rogue bad actors within every agency.. And what is most alarming about this is that this news should make NATIONAL HEADLINES… and not a peep other than from local media. I say it again… every single Critical Dam in the U.S. needs to be inspected immediately.
