Over the past 10 days, I've been developing an app called ICE Home Up. So far, I've added more than 20 features, created tons of customizable animation parameters, and experimented with a wide variety of animation effects. One of my most exciting creations is something I call the "Scroll Animation." As we all know, most smartphone app-opening animations today rely on proportional scaling. But I've taken a different approach by combining proportional scaling with a scroll-like unfolding effect. As an app window expands, it also unfolds naturally and smoothly, creating a much more seamless, elegant, and fluid visual experience. The result feels incredibly satisfying. I've honestly become a little obsessed with studying all these tiny animation details. I'll show you these animations in action when I get the chance. For now, here's a first look at the ICE Home Up interface. As you can see, it's become quite complex, with tons of parameters that allow for incredibly precise adjustments. I'm still experimenting, refining, and exploring what's possible. Once I've fully figured everything out and made the app stable and polished enough, I might eventually share ICE Home Up with everyone, so more Samsung users can experience these new animation effects.

Just so you know, no, I haven't forgotten about the bow, I'm still working on it 🎶 I just have tooooo many ideas and I still need time so I can make some of them happen. Especially when it comes to VFX, I'm still a beginner, I have sooo much to learn and improve yet!

emotions running high right now.... nothing i say will truly encapsulate the feeling, so i'm only left with gratitude. these past two years have been life-changing, so many new friends made, so much art created, i think i will look back to this moment when i'm much older and consider it the beginning of the best era of my life. with the present is now concluded, i can start focusing on the future, and i couldn't be more excited. not only for the work that is to come, but to create it in the company of the core, the loyal group of folks who believed in my vision and had made kept the dream alive. from the bottom of my heart. thank you 🖤

I've probably spent more time trying to describe camera movement than actually creating. "Slow push in." "Smooth tracking shot." "Cinematic movement." The results were never quite right. “The Last Meatball” Animation: jboogx.creative & enigmatic_e Movement: jboogx.creative & enigmatic_e Reference Imagery: FLUX on Civitai Jboogx and I have known each other for the better part of the last 12 months. I think we've both been inspired by each other's work and dedication to exploring all the ways we can push these tools to their limits for VFX and animation. We didn't want to force a collaboration, but recently, Jboogx was inspired by the work I've been doing and how I incorporate myself into my animations. This idea is a playful take on 'Atlas carrying the boulder,' but with a twist—let's make Atlas out of spaghetti and the boulder a meatball, to fit more with what Jboogx has been doing on the food side of things lately (shoutout to our good friend James Gerde -@gerdegotit @gerdedoesit @gerdemadeit, who did the first spaghetti animation). Since I was going to record myself, it wouldn't have been right if Jboogx didn't as well! This is just a taste of what’s possible. I'm located in Germany, and Jboogx is in Hawaii. A world apart, and we pulled this together in 48 hours. BTS coming soon 😉

I just launched a brand new channel with an INSANE strategy. I'm calling it the Launch Loop. I've been working on this channel for over a year, and took the actually massive risk to hold off on posting until I had all 5 launch videos ready. Each idea was carefully selected for this strategy, and each one was carefully written to execute it. I view this channel launch, and these videos, not as individual videos but as a season of a new show. The plan was this: come up with video ideas that fit together, and write the end of each video to smoothly blend into the next. I treated the conclusion of each video as if it was the intro of the next video, so that if people enjoyed what I made and wanted to see more, they could click the next video on the End Card This was inspired by work I've done in the past: a few years ago on my YouTube strategy channel, I posted a video about Ryan Trahan's thumbnail strategy which has gotten over 2M lifetime views. But at the end of that video, I carefully wrote a transition showing video my comprehensive breakdown of 21 thumbnail formats. The End Screen video CTR on that video is 29.4% 🤯. I'm convinced that some of those 2M views must have come from the success of that end screen. I've come to believe that it's really important to bring in an audience to your CHANNEL, not just one video. That was a mistake I made in another channel I worked on before! Getting virality on individual videos, but not keeping viewers for the long term or growing an actualy community. So I thought, what if I launched a channel where every video pointed to the next, in a loop? Maybe there will be a flywheel where success on one brings success on the next, and the next, and the next... But for this plan to work the videos I made have to actually be good 😅

This years been pretty nice. Been trying to do more stuff out of my comfort zone and I'm pretty happy with the results. Glad you guys seemed to like it as well. Mostly proud of animations! Was working on a lil doodle to celebrate, but that's for tomorrow. Happy new years!

Hey X, Family, friends, and warriors on here, I need to share something heavy that's been on my heart for only a couple of days. The doctors recently gave me news of cancer and a short 12-month timeline at best. I call BS on that. I feel strong, I'm fighting with everything I have, and I'm positive I'll beat this by God's grace. I'm anxiously waiting on a second opinion from another oncologist right now. Today I broke the news to my kiddos, all but the one overseas. My minors at home (including our new little Spider-Man who's been adjusting with us the past week after coming from a tough situation) and my college boy are now in the know. As a widower with no other living relatives, these boys depend on me, and I've never hidden things from them. We prayed together and we're standing on faith. I've only been carrying this quietly for a couple days, but I can't keep it hidden any longer. So many of you depend on me for the behind-the-scenes help and encouragement, and I have several close friends right here on this platform who have beaten the odds ,true God's warriors. Their testimonies fire me up. I know I'll join them in victory. Scripture I'm standing on: " Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up." (James 5:14-15) Also, "Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." (Galatians 6:2) Please cover me and my boys in prayer. I'm trusting God for complete healing and many more years of ministry, fatherhood, and service. He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it. Let's believe together, the battle is the Lord's. Much love and gratitude, Moon 🌙

its me, blank - i'm starting a new company called S7RX and im going to do what i've never done before - sharing it all here you probably know me as the founder of openpurpose but in short - i'm a designer turned founder - i started my studio 17 years ago called 3drops in stockholm which i rebranded to openpurpose a couple of years ago and grew it to over 70 members globally working with leading tech companies in us besides running the agency, over the past decade i took on a few personal projects that meant something to me - like leading the digitization of the global visa system for over 65 countries and working with a few enterprise founders to launch daring projects to future proof their organizations along the way i experimented with dozens of ideas which some turned into ventures and a few became companies with their own dedicated teams but for as long as i can remember i only had one dream - to launch a brand that earns like a tech company but feels like a lifestyle brand so now at the age of 36, i'm doing just that and calling it S7RX my first product is launching next week and with that we are officially starting this new journey so follow on IG to see the stories and say hi : ) this will be different

Over the last few months, I've been tweaking and experimenting with some poster styles for Hisa (formerly Chaka) Invest with Hisa, and I really love where I'm headed. Having free rein over the direction of these posters is a privilege I grabbed with both hands. And there's still more where this came from. I promise. Honestly feels like I'm just getting started. I really love it here, mehn.

Scroll-triggered animations are coming to Chrome early next year (and we've been really excited about this one for a bit!) 🥳 Unlike scroll-driven animations (already in Chrome & Safari), this API introduces "timeline-trigger" and "animation-trigger" to start an animation within a specific range, rather than relying on the scroller completion *as* the animation timeline. I got nerd-sniped and wanted to try it out so I built this shape morphing demo to show how you can apply multiple animations to the same element over with different triggers. PRETTY COOL IMO! Bramus has a post with more info ⬇️
