Over the past few months, I’ve been building an HTML generation framework in Rust for static and server-side rendering, a WebGPU engine built from scratch around a layer-based system, and a collection of tools designed to make building solid websites faster. Time to get back to making nice things. 🧃

curious where the layer abstraction stops: does it own compositing only, or also resource lifetime and resize behavior? keeping those boundaries explicit seems especially valuable when a visual experiment becomes a page someone has to maintain.

@AristideBenoist I am very new to this space Do u think someday we can basically user HTML CSS and rust for making websites and hosting them on cloudflare, and the like effectively not needing JS or python for backend etc at least for simple websites like portfolio

Hi...I’m a software developer and I’ve spent 6 months building XauCloud from scratch. Real-time market intelligence, MT5 integration, risk controls, analytics and monitoring—all in one Command Center. It’s been a journey bringing this to life. XauCloud — Built for Gold.

I've casually mentioned that I should get around to re-writing Building Gadgets from scratch. I've been working on that quietly for the past couple months. Its slow and painful re-writing existing tools. So I decided to add a new one.... No ETA On this release. Sorry!

NOW: VP Vance lays out the vision behind the Foundry School, a push by the Trump administration to get America’s next generation building again. “We’re telling America’s next generation of entrepreneurs and engineers and just brilliant kids that there is a future.” Vance says that future is not just financial. It is about restoring dignity to careers built around manufacturing, engineering, skilled trades, and leading the teams that make things. “We believe in making things again. And we’re going to give you the tools and the education and the networking in order to do it.”

Building a robot dog? This ESP32 board was made for it. Petoi Biboard is an ESP32-based development board designed for multi-joint robots, with up to 12 PWM servo outputs built right in. It also includes an onboard IMU for balance and motion sensing, wireless connectivity, expansion interfaces and audio features. The BiBoard V1 adds features such as a voice command module, speaker and Raspberry Pi support. What makes it especially interesting is the software ecosystem. The board works with Petoi's open-source OpenCat framework, giving developers a solid starting point for building quadruped robots instead of creating everything from scratch. An ESP32, 12 servos and open-source robotics software. That's a pretty good starting point for building your own robot dog.

I designed this mobile app in Figma and decided to build it with Claude Code. These are some of the interactions I’ve built so far. Compared to the last time I tried building a mobile app with Claude Code for a client, this has been sooo much easier.

Jeff Bezos wants AI to approve Miami building permits in 10 seconds: “Miami should have an AI application that reads your building permit and it should give you a yes or a no in 10 seconds. Why does it take months and months and months to get a building permit? It doesn’t make any sense.”

I just turned 37 today and started this journey when I was 30. After years of building the engine with 💕 and optimizing it, this is the final gameplay running on #webgl with #threejs After converting Jamir from WebGL to WebGPU, I hope to release the X3JS, built on top of Jamir's game engine, in 2025, initially for creating FPP and TPP games, and make it available for everyone. New version will be upcoming in a few days, btw! 🥳 #gamedev #gamedevelopment

Known is finally live on the App Store. San Francisco feels a little different this morning. For the past few months, we’ve been building a new kind of dating platform for the post-swipe era. Known is intentional, designed to get people on real dates. Love is coming.

Excited to share Kigen Design System Figma plugin✨ Over the years, I’ve helped lots of brands build their DS - mostly doing the same variables and styles repeatedly for start. I thought, why not automate this? So, for the past few months, I’ve been building, testing, and improving it. Right now, it generates colors, typography styles, sizes, radii, and more. Plus, there’s an option to present everything for documentation. Give it a try and let me know what you think! ....

If we want a stronger economy and good jobs for the next generation, we need to get back to building things, making things and creating real opportunity here at home. That means protecting the industrial land we have and recognizing the enormous value of the businesses and workers who use it.
