Sen. WELCH: People were shot down by ICE in Minneapolis in the name of so-called ‘enforcement’ of citizenship. Constitutional rights are being violated. This hearing has to be about ensuring and protecting constitutional rights.

For too long, Americans’ constitutional rights have been violated. I joined Mike Lee to introduce a bill to require government agents to obtain a warrant before viewing Americans’ private communications collected under 702. Let’s get this done and protect Americans’ security and their constitutional rights.

For the past decade, top Democrats have smeared Republicans as Nazis, racists, fascists, and threats to democracy. And it has had deadly consequences. This isn’t just the fringe Left. The mainstream Democrat Party has been taken over by political violence. This has to stop!

Too many Americans are living in fear just walking down their own street. Dreamers are Americans too. This is the only home they’ve known. TEXAS is home and I’ve got their backs. Enough of the fear, the masked agents, and the raids. Enough of division. It’s time to address this issue with a pathway to citizenship and an immigration agency that’s focused on national security — not the color of your skin. #JuntosConCrockett

What we are seeing in Minnesota is what authoritarianism looks like in real time. Racism, dehumanization, and state-sanctioned violence are tearing at the foundation of this country. We came to demand justice for Renee Good and everyone who has been terrorized by unqualified ICE agents — led by an unqualified DHS Secretary and an unqualified President.

The cost of living has skyrocketed. Heath care premiums are set to double. Masked agents are in the streets terrorizing communities. And Americans have had enough. But instead of changing the policies that are so unpopular ahead of the midterm elections, Trump and Republicans would rather change the rules. Democrats are sounding the alarm before it's too late.

🚨🇺🇸 FEDERAL INVASION OR LAW ENFORCEMENT? MINNESOTA AND ILLINOIS SUE OVER ICE INFLUX Minnesota and Illinois just sued the Trump administration over "Operation Metro Surge" - and the timing is wild. After an ICE agent killed Renee Good, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem called Good a "domestic terrorist" and sent over hundreds more agents on Monday. Now there are 3,000+ federal immigration agents in Minneapolis, more than the city's entire police force. The lawsuits allege racial profiling, warrantless arrests of U.S. citizens, and violations of constitutional rights in schools and hospitals. Now, multiple cities are watching to see if federal agents can operate in states without local cooperation, and what happens when they do. Source: FOX & Friends, Matt Finn

Are there any foreign agents in the terror ICE forces? In fact there are over 120 ICE agents in Chicago who are from the JOF. This is out of a total 2000 agents. And how many agents have been trained by the IDF? And this is besides ADL training. It’s entirely within the realm of possibility the agent who just murdered Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis was Israeli or Israeli trained!

HAPPENING NOW: Multiple demonstrations have exploded across Minneapolis this weekend after the shooting death of anti-ICE activist Alex Pretti. Dozens of people chanted his name outside Target Center Sunday evening as NBA fans streamed into the arena. Homeland Security officials said Pretti approached Border Patrol agents while armed with a 9 mm pistol and "violently resisted" when they attempted to disarm him. It's the second fatal shooting in the city by immigration agents this month. Turning Point USA|Jonathan Choe

The ACLU is raising alarm over a facial recognition app loaded onto the smartphones of immigration agents to identify and arrest people. "It's being used on the street in ways that are dangerous, that are totally unprecedented in this country, and that are, frankly, blatantly illegal. … It's been being used indiscriminately by masked federal agents without people's consent."
