I actually agree with this imam. The sharia penal code, the hudud, is barely 1% of Islamic sharia, and it isn’t even enforced in most Islamic countries. So the fear that Muslims are coming to impose amputations and stonings on America is overblown. But here is what the imam won’t tell you. Sharia is not mainly about the penal code, and the threat it poses to the West was never primarily violence or terrorism. The real danger is the erasure of individual liberty and religious freedom in any region that becomes heavily Muslim, because sharia governs the relationship between Muslims and non-Muslims, and it enforces blasphemy norms either by law, as in Islamic states, or by fear and self-censorship everywhere else. By that measure, every single Islamic country on earth applies sharia. Not one of them permits full freedom of speech. Not one of them grants non-Muslims the same rights as Muslims. The penal code is the part they’ll debate with you. The erasure of your freedoms is the part they won’t.

Where are the Muslims around the world decrying the evil Muslim rape gangs in the UK? In my interview with Senator Tommy Tuberville Coach Tommy Tuberville this week, I asked if the Senator would support a BAN on Muslims serving in Congress. Senator Tuberville, who is one of the strongest advocates against the jihadi invasion of this country, said that he doesn’t see a way to prevent Muslims who “assimilate” from serving in Congress. I’ve got a solution: we must accept that Islam is NOT a religion. IT IS A LEGAL CODE. Adherents of Sharia Law abuse our Constitution by claiming they should have religious exemptions from our laws so they can enforce their own. We MUST pass a bill banning muslims from serving in Congress. The bill should articulate that adherents of Sharia Law are invading this country, disguised as Muslim immigrants, to spread their archaic, barbarous legal system to usurp our legal system. This bill intentionally invites a Supreme Court challenge to Article VI, Clause 3 of the US Constitution. SCOTUS must weigh in on whether or not Sharia adherents are Muslims and if Muslims are Sharia adherents. Should the Supreme Court fail to recognize the existential peril facing our nation by the onslaught of jihad, Congress and the States must then move to amend the US Constitution. Such an Amendment could go even further: blocking Muslims from serving in Congress, denaturalizing muslims based on their bad faith Oaths of Allegiance, and deporting all non US-born muslims from our country. We can and we MUST save America. The framers of the Constitution gave us everything we need to handle this situation. When American Muslims pray five times a day, fast in Ramadan, and give in charity, they are following the rules of sharia, which is analogous to halacha in Judaism and canon law in Catholicism. Sharia law has no place in modern society It is the greatest threat to womens' rights in Britain & is used as a tool of oppression, victimisation & abuse Our hypocritical politicians embraced "#MeToo", preach about women's rights & lecture British men about "toxic masculinity"... whilst at the same time wilfully turning a blind eye to the rampant misogyny, oppression, sexual assault, domestic & honour based violence that exists within parts of the Muslim community - and which is enabled by some Sharia councils. Sharia councils (which are completely unregulated) have condoned wife beating, told wives to reconcile with abusive husbands and dismissed the idea of "marital rape". We live in an age of great leaps forward for humanity: Artificial Intelligence, quantum computing, driverless cars, tourist trips to space etc. etc. It is preposterous that in such an advanced age, women's lives are still being ruled by medieval laws. We are all equal under the law. One law for all. That principle must stand. Why, then, is Britain the "Sharia capital" of the West? We have more Sharia councils than anyone else and British Muslims help set up Sharia councils in other Western countries. 60%-80% of Muslim marriages in the UK are Sharia only, with no civil registration (thus denying "wives" protection from English courts). This is the highest in the Western world. Some morons will reply: "Sharia is voluntary and has no legal recognition or force in the UK". Tell that to the Muslim women who are forced to go to Sharia councils and who are forced (by their religious leaders, their husbands, their families and their wider community) to accept the rulings - rulings made by ultra-conservative / extremist / Islamist men. When I moved to the U.S., I was shocked to realize that the West had been sold the lie that “jihad” in Islam is somehow debated among Muslims, as if there were multiple interpretations or something like that. That is false, lies, deception. No multiple interpretations, no debates, nothing. Since I was in 2nd grade, we were taught in school that jihad is the highest aim a Muslim can strive for. The conversation about ‘racism’ and so called ‘white people’ is one that I try very hard not to engage in within this country. Why? Simply because it is my experience of all the people in this country, whites try the hardest NOT to come over as ‘racist’. However there is a wider discussion about real dirty racism practiced by both Pakistani Muslims and Gulf State Sunni Muslims in the UK against black people. It is a regular occurrence. The truth is, certain people within the GOP and DHS are COWARDS for refusing to target the real threat in Minnesota. We have Somali Muslims in Minneapolis pledging allegiance to Sharia Law and joining ISIS while we are told some Mexican house keeper is the “worst of the worst”. Why is Operation Metro Surge largely rounding up Hispanics when the entire city of Minneapolis has been plagued by a SOMALI MUSLIM Fraud Scandal that is destroying the state? I don't want any illegal aliens in the United States, but the Jihadists are the worst of the worst and they are being protected from deportation. Stop running interference for people who want to murder Americans in the name of Islam!
