I recall seeing a similar demonstration at a wildlife center as a child and was blown away. Huge owl, flapping its wings, zero sound. I remember this 40 plus years later!

@gemdrgn1_ I was priveledged to sit and watch a Screech Owl eat her captured mouse one night while sitting by my pond. I never heard it flying or landing. I will never forget it.

I was on a search party for a missing woman and a HUGE Barn owl, which flew a couple of inches over my head. It was 10 feet away before I could flinch and check my drawers. Total stealth predator. Awesome to behold.
