As the governorship election in Osun state draws near,the major tragedy for me,which many do not seem to be conscious of,is about the bankruptcy of ideas.Rather than for contesting flagbearer candidates and supporters campaign and cross fertilize concrete and implementable ideas which will translate into the dividends of democracy for the Osun people,everybody involved in the electioneering ecosystem seem to be carried away by inanities such as banalities,accusations and counter accusations, blackmail,name calling and the audacity of shamelessness across all spectrum. It's really sad for Osun state and it's people irrespective of wherever the electoral pendulum swings! It seems to be a fait accompli. Between 6 and half-a-dozen,what's really the difference?
