This batter swung at a pitch and missed. The runner from first was stealing and the catcher makes a throw down to second. The catcher made contact with the batter who was still in the batter’s box after swinging and missing. The umpire called batter’s interference, sent the runner back to first and called the batter out. To me, that batter has to be able to finish his swing. He never stepped outside the box. I think it is the wrong call. What do you think? Batter’s interference or not?

Third base coach must not have realized Kyle Stowers had such a cannon! Tough send. 98.1 MPH on the money for the easy out. The Orioles could really use a guy like Stowers in their outfield, they should look into him. He has a .947 OPS. Maybe even get the Marlins to throw in an infielder like Connor Norby.

yesterday , my wife and I came home from a Halloween party… and found an egg smashed on the wall inside our bedroom. 😳 at first we panicked, we thought someone had broken in. but after checking the whole place, nothing was stolen. eventually we realized the egg was thrown through our window. still not sure how, the curtains were closed and there was only a tiny gap. spent an hour cleaning up that mess. and today we learned… apparently it’s a Halloween tradition for teenagers to throw eggs at houses. that was really spooky 👻

Here is the play folks are asking about, and I don't see an error here. Triolo doesn't make an attempt at the runner going to second, so it cannot be a fielder's choice, and the struggle to get the ball out of his glove isn't an error unless there is a complete loss of contact/bobble with air, and I don't see that either, and Happ then beat out the play at first. I don't see where the error is because Happ is on the base before the ball gets to first. There is an error for the advancements after the bad throw, but I have a single and not an assumed out here.

What an absolute embarrassment for a ‘Professional League’ on a night that they hyped themselves having every team playing and every fan hopefully watching. You give them this. Most basic of all calls at the Learn To Play level. Simple call, can’t throw your stick, not even debatable. Hockey fan, we have to stop making fun of basketball for all forms of traveling when we didn’t call this. It’s only made better that the offending team scores right after this.

Here, with Workman on second, Zach McKinstry hits a fly to left that lands, and Workman is thrown out 7-5 at third base. This was ruled a single, and the question has been asked as to why. First, this is the correct scoring, as this is a single. I attended a church wedding now at Foursquare here in Ajah and what the pastor said really made my day. He said and I quote "I used the new coastal road twice yesterday and I had a very smooth and traffic free journey. My wife bought a brand new iPhone at the Apple store located at Jakande, Lekki Phase 1,Lagos last September. We decided to trade it in for a new one today at the Apple Store located at Westfield Stratford City Arcade (London) a few minutes ago Only God did not let them call the police on us The attendant scanned the IPhone and declared that it had been reported as stolen. Stolen from where? It was not a used iPhone It was new, purchased from an approved Apple Store and we have all the receipts intact The attendant saw our indignation and went ahead to consult with her superiors They scanned again and they declared that it was reported “missing”. They adjusted their language from stolen to missing and told us it has zero swap value. I was not shocked at all even though I should be. Nigerians like cutting corners for unhealthy gains and they always believe this is good business for them as long as they were able to make a buck. Somehow we were able to walk out of that Apple Store without any drama but I remember telling my wife that we would have had a lot of explaining to do if they had a policy that required that they must report such incidents to the police. Nigerian business people must try to do better than this There is something called integrity, it has a higher value than the dirty gains they think they are getting by playing dirty. I have always insisted on buying things in Nigeria because it helps the economy but I can see the reason many prefer to shop abroad. We must do better than this as a people. -GSW-

My wife bought a brand new iPhone at the Apple store located at Jakande, Lekki Phase 1,Lagos last September. We decided to trade it in for a new one today at the Apple Store located at Westfield Stratford City Arcade (London) a few minutes ago Only God did not let them call the police on us The attendant scanned the IPhone and declared that it had been reported as stolen. Stolen from where? It was not a used iPhone It was new, purchased from an approved Apple Store and we have all the receipts intact The attendant saw our indignation and went ahead to consult with her superiors They scanned again and they declared that it was reported “missing”. They adjusted their language from stolen to missing and told us it has zero swap value. I was not shocked at all even though I should be. Nigerians like cutting corners for unhealthy gains and they always believe this is good business for them as long as they were able to make a buck. Somehow we were able to walk out of that Apple Store without any drama but I remember telling my wife that we would have had a lot of explaining to do if they had a policy that required that they must report such incidents to the police.
