@twinkledaughter one day I'll be able to do this kinda thing

how fucking double jointed are u dude

not double jointed at all, just 20 years playing and long fingers lol

@twinkledaughter I loveeeeee

tabs ?

what tuning is this in / do you usually play in?

this is drop d halfstep down, i usually just play in halfstep down i also do open emaj (ebeg#be) and open emin (ebegbe) but also halfstep down for both, that’s usually only on my tele anything with my 7 string is halfstep down and i drop the Bb to an Ab

do you actually get your tele setup for the tuning or do you just change it on the fly often? i always worry that itll get out of tuning super quick if i dont get a setup done

i really only change the g string from G to Gb so i just leave the intonation the same, but i think i set it up for open Emaj half step down (ig technically open Ebmaj but i’m not writing b after every string note name ..) i usually keep each guitar in a diff tuning tbh

i decided i was gonna do that long ago and never got around to it so sometimes if i wanna play something and its in a dif tuning i just sigh and do something else LOL

muy bueno

i always like it when you play a metalcore breakdown in your math rock song

stretches from 2 to 6 are nightmares

Have you listened to Boilermaker at all?

i’ve never heard of them but i’ll check them out :>

They're the most 90s midwest emo band to come from california lol. I think they're highly underrated

How painful?

You got some good guitar fingers

GET IT

I am jealous of the Chords you can play so nicely

scandinavian black metal of the 90's intro meets some midwest emo !

Nice! I like also the tiny bit of the end. The rhytmic snippet.

it’s because this is a continuation of this riff !! i just finished writing the whole song recently so i’ll post more of the full band version soon

oh yeah, you've developed it quite nicely. In the new version (?) you have added some nice rhytmic variations. I like really the new (?) version and it does fit well with the plucking part.

miku guitar goes hard tho

🆒
