It's amazing to me that all of these games are awesome in VR but the developers of the games seem to be the only ones that don't see it. Do you think that will chance soon? I don't have access to PCVR but I pretty much only play VR these days.

Be nice if the UEVR mod disabled game view on the main pc, only showing in the headset like Vivecraft does. I have no issues running Minecraft VR with loads of mods, but any UEVR mod even this one lags in headset while being smooth on the main pc.

That wouldn't improve performance. The desktop is just duplicating the render of one of your eyes already being rendered. Many games do need a strong PC though. If you desktop game get 100 fps at a FOV of like 90, VR has a much higher fps and then it needs to render the game twice for each eye. Then on top of that, VR requires higher framerates than what is comfortable with flat.
