Batman: Arkham Knight has the greatest combat system in the entire trilogy, and it's not even close 🦇

12 years ago I was sitting in the Navy Pier IMAX theater watching THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. This film gets a bad rap. It's a wonderful, beautiful, poetic end to Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy. It's one of the most satisfying closing chapters of any trilogy.

Christopher Nolan’s first choice for Batman was actually Josh Hartnett, but he declined the role to avoid committing to a long-term franchise. Nolan then cast Christian Bale, who actively pursued the part and impressed the studio with his immense dedication to the role, ultimately shaping the definitive Batman of the trilogy. 🎥: Batman Begins (2005)

Batman: Arkham Knight launched 11 years ago today, marking the final chapter in Rocksteady's Arkham trilogy. We really had it good.

Nolan and Bale gave us Batman Begins, The Prestige, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. The Prestige is still Bale’s most underrated Nolan performance and the trilogy is still the high-water mark for Batman on film.
