Paramilitary flags aren’t culture, they’re intimidation. For too long, illegal flags & banners have been used to threaten and mark territory. New legislation will give the PSNI powers to remove them. The Executive must back this with real support and resources.

Speaking of marking territory, what do you think Irish Street (sorry, dual) language signs are?

Will it also remove pride progress flags and antifa? Your party members have no probs standing with people wagging these at women.

Many in Northern Ireland find the flying of the Irish Tricolour offensive and of intimidation, marking territory of a foreign country within the UK. SURELY THATS ILLEGAL but you remain quiet. I suppose when you come from Co. Galway you think the Tricolour as your own while in NI

Sure I’m all for getting rid of parliamentary flags and while you’re at it get rid of trophy’s & grounds named after the IRA.
