There is so much wrong with this post. Having your child in your bed does not by any means make them on the same level. If it breaks your connection, you had a bad connection. Don’t blame baby or young child who seek comfort at night for ruining your marriage. I could go on..

Your woman is brainwashing you into thinking the kids are the reason she stopped giving you sex, you poor moron

Agree to disagree. My child won’t be this small forever & I’m taking advantage of every opportunity to connect with them before they are gone & too big!

There’s research that supports co sleeping. We don’t let it ruin our marriage. We still have sex!

Dont take parental advice from people who call their children "kids". The definition for a "kid" is a baby goat 🐐

Balance between short-term & long-term needs requires reasonableness not absolutes -> Had a bad dream? come sleep with us... Want to be close? bring your sleeping-bag next to the bed in our room... Etc... Try to meet today's needs while also working toward tomorrow's goals too...

Wow this is really sad. Letting a child ruin your marriage and intimacy because they’re in your bed? Yikes 😬 might not have a great marriage if that’s all it takes to create problems.

Babies and children sleep with their parents in many countries, Africa being a BIG ONE that comes to mind. The first year the baby is ATTACHED to mom 24/7. Just because you’re a parent, doesn’t make you an expert. These people swear… 🙄

A “high level husband” come on. The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, self control, and becoming HIGH LEVEL. Thriving is inward and knowing you can go through all things with Christ. The good, the bad.

This is horrible advice for development even into adulthood. The first 3 years build foundational elements of a person, that are incredibly difficult if not impossible to later on, even as an adult. Trust, stress response, health, etc. Optimal foundation NEEDS this for 3yrs.

That is next-level cringe and full of BS. They definitely look like the parents who let their kids cry for 3 hours in a dark room until they're so tired they fall asleep.

Kids are not equal. They are more important than anything else in your life. If you’ve had kids they come first. If you think otherwise do not reproduce. Partner intimacy returns when it returns. Communication and finding time away from the bedroom keeps a relationship alive.

Men: be like the tribes of Israel, where a family unit consisted of one man with multiple women. This caused men to be more responsible and productive and women to be more caring and less contentious. When a man has options, a woman responds differently.

Who said if they come to your bed they’re on the same level as the parents?? This was created by a narcissistic partner.

There is no perfect parent, and there is no perfect way of parenting. However, today I bring you the fundamental principles of mindful and conscious parenting aimed at raising resilient and confident children in the future. A few weeks ago, I invited all of you to share your burning questions on parenting, and now you will find the answers in this new episode featuring the amazing Dr. Shefali Tsabary. Dr. Shefali is a clinical psychologist, a New York Times bestselling author and a highly regarded figure in the conscious parenting space. In this episode, Dr. Shefali sheds light on the blending of Western psychology and Eastern philosophy in her practice and her work in counseling parents in raising authentic children who embrace their true worth. We explore important topics such as managing the influence of social media on our kids, instilling values, and building interpersonal connections. Drawing from her own childhood experiences and her journey as a parent, Dr. Shefali keeps the discussion raw, real, and relatable. I deeply appreciate how she emphasizes that parenting is not about outsourcing the responsibility to nannies or professionals, but about parents recognizing their unique role. While seeking help and utilizing resources is acceptable, the core job of parenting ultimately rests with the parents themselves. We also dive into Dr. Shefali's latest book, "The Parenting Map," which delves into the distinction between conscious parenting and traditional parenting. Whether you are a parent of young children or a grandparent wishing to share this valuable information with your own children who are now parents themselves, this episode aims to reach every caregiver.
