Andy Green says Jonah Tong is going to pitch down the stretch. Honestly, the way the Mets have handled Tong pisses me off. They already sent him down right at 44 days so they wouldn’t cross the 45-day service-time threshold. What really gets me is they capped Nolan McLean in 2025 when we were actually in a playoff race. One extra start here or there might’ve been the win that pushed us into October. Limiting McLean in the middle of a real playoffs race, then rolling Tong out now when the goal is a bottom-six finish, feels completely ass backwards. #LGM

This is a really bad look for Francisco Alvarez. McLean shook him off five times before he was forced to throw a middle-middle fastball to Schanuel just to avoid a pitch clock violation. How are you not on the same page as your pitcher in the first inning? It makes me seriously question his preparation and his ability to handle this pitching staff. #lgm

“In hindsight do we look back on that year where they threw him in … is that gonna turn him into a future out-of-the-league guy … or is he gonna be a frontline starter in 3 years?” Ernest Dove & Rich MacLeod on if the Mets rushing Jonah Tong to the majors hurt his development.

"I oppose trans athletes playing in girls sports if it endangers safety or fairness." Democratic Senate nominee James Talarico is changing his tune on biological men in women's sports. Pressed by Fox News' Brooke Taylor on where he stands, Talarico said he would oppose trans athletes competing in girls' sports if it poses a risk to safety and fairness — a notable shift for a candidate who once claimed there were "six" biological sexes and said "God is nonbinary." He has since said he knows there are two sexes and acknowledged some of his past comments "missed the mark." The Story

Plus 1 has traveled to Düsseldorf to meet the woman whose video he claims to have accidentally shared alongside that of the Sports Minister Kofi Adams during a trip to Germany ahead of the Black Stars match. During the meeting, the woman clarified that she has no connection with the Sports Minister and was on an independent trip to Düsseldorf, while the group was heading to a different destination. Plus 1 admitted that he had mistakenly merged the two videos, which created the false impression that she was traveling with the Sports Minister. He also emphasized that both he and Appiah Stadium had personally funded all their travel expenses to Germany, and that the government had not borne any costs on their behalf.

Proud dad moment. This is my son Hudson's 3rd year playing baseball. He's a killer whenever he goes to bat. .600+ batting average. Never strikes out. His first two seasons, he was on a team where all four pitchers were the coaches sons. Needless to say, he never got to pitch. This season, he was on a different team. This team has one good pitcher, but that pitcher plays on two different teams. When he's not there to pitch, it's a disaster. Last game he wasn't there, Hudson's team lost 20-1. The other team got 3 hits... that's not a typo. All season, Hudson has been asking for a chance to pitch with the coach saying "maybe" every time. Fast forward to yesterday. Good pitcher is there. We're up 11-4. Good pitcher runs out of pitches with two outs remaining in the second to last inning. Coach puts his son in as pitcher. Son needs to get ONE out. It's a hot mess. He allows 4 runs on zero hits and by some miracle, the inning comes to an end. Coach doesn't have to look at me to know that you could boil an egg on my forehead in that moment. I'm steaming. Finally in the last inning he relents and puts Hudson on the mound. After waiting for three years, Hudson gets to pitch for the first time. 14 pitches. Strikeout. Ground out. Strikeout. Game over. Here's the final at bat.

Davood Sohrabi was a young man from Tehran. He was an athlete and sports coach in the fields of fitness and bodybuilding, as well as active in the modeling profession. A passionate and hopeful youth who was preparing for major championships in sports. On January 8, 2026, he suffered severe injury from a direct gunshot by the forces of the Islamic Republic regime to the eye area and was immediately rushed to the hospital. However, his condition was critical, and he fell into a coma. After approximately 50 days in a coma, on February 23, 2026, he lost his life due to the severity of his injuries; the gunshot to the head/eye causing profound brain damage and inability to recover. That very night, just two hours before the incident, he was returning from the Southeast Tehran bodybuilding competitions, where he had won a silver medal. #IranMassacre

Chris Campos and his dad built a mound in his backyard and worked like crazy to master his slider last off-season, and, it absolutely worked. Campos is one of the most self-aware young pitchers I've seen pitch, and what I mean by that is he knows what makes him good, and he knows how to execute those sequences. He was the starting short stop at Saint Marys and didn't pitch much at all, so his ceiling is just now starting to grow. ++ athlete, which is very important, as we see with guys like River Ryan, live arm, and as stated before, he's just getting started as a pitcher. Campos has a similar backstory to Gavin Stone. He was told that he was too little to play D1 baseball, but he responded by going to a great baseball school and becoming an everyday player at a premier position. The Dodgers saw his arm talent, athletic ability, and ability to absorb and apply information, drafted him, and then converted him to a pitcher. Keep your eye on this guy, he's gonna continue to get better and better. #dodgers

Matt Damon says Christopher Nolan was the only exception to the acting break he promised his wife Stephen: "you and your wife agreed that you wouldn’t act for a while. So what gives? Matt: “We had a very specific arrangement. I had a feeling Chris Nolan might have a movie coming up. I had no idea if there was a part for me, but I left that one door open. I said, ‘If Chris Nolan were to call me...’” “Our marriage is the second most important thing. No, that’s not true. To be fair, she’s a massive fan of his movies too. She was like, ‘If he calls, then you can do that.’ Then he did, which was great”

Jonah wants a long on ZRO and the first place he checks is button. “Let’s check Button, because I’m willing to play ZRO.” He pulls up the perps list, searches for it, and gets his answer pretty quickly. “No, you can’t do a long on ZRO.” He checks FOMO next to see if it's available there. Still nothing. At that point, he says he'll probably just buy it through a wallet instead. A quick look at how he checks opportunities before jumping into a trade. FT Jonah button

🖤 WOW! Another amazing friend of Nolan Wells speaks: Tracestin Shepherd. I’ll call him T. With Brandon Tatum Part 5: 🖤 Mom said this wasn’t one of Nolan’s close friends (yet again), yet he parked cars at Nolan’s house for weeks, spent Spring Break with him, and traveled with him. 🖤 The beach fight. T got into a fight after a man inserted himself into him and his girlfriend’s discussion, took a swing at T, and the 2 fought. Later, Warren’s younger brother, Carter, got into a separate one-on-one fight with that SAME man. Nolan was not part of the fight. 🖤 It makes me wonder if Nolan was targeted later because he was with this friend group—or if that same man later inserted himself into Nolan’s conversation with Katie. 🖤 No obvious signs of a fight, THOUGH, per ME. Only the red discoloration on the back of Nolan’s neck, and part of his neck is still being retained by the first medical examiner. There could be medical explanations, but a couple of my guy friends wondered if maybe Nolan had been choked out. 🖤 Last sighting by T: Nolan and Katie were walking toward Wyatt’s boat while T headed to his uncle’s boat. T didn’t say Nolan was getting on the boat or leaving. Katie remains part of the timeline. 🖤 T says the “Give me my effing phone” voice is his, not Nolan’s. Nolan’s coach also said it wasn’t Nolan’s voice. 🖤 T said they searched with Wyatt the next day. I wish he’d said which boat. I’m assuming the 18-foot Palm Beach, since the 22-footer reportedly had water issues—but that’s only my assumption. Lastly, why aren’t we considering that Nolan may have gotten onto someone else’s boat and something happened there? Or that he simply got himself into trouble in the water? What if, under the influence of alcohol, he was injured and tried swimming to shore? Is that why he was found face down? Maybe he drank too much and suffered alcohol poisoning. Maybe someone put something in his drink. Maybe that’s why we’re not seeing clearer answers yet, and why toxicology could be so important. 🔗Link

This morning, Abhijeet Dipke, who has been roaming around Maharashtra pretending to be a DM, reached Latur for a school inspection. He walked straight into a classroom as if he were the school principal. And the way he started giving gyaan there, you’d think he was Abdul Kalam himself, someone who had struggled his way to becoming a scientist.
