One major reason businesses are running away from using the Eastern Port is this: Insecure Perception and Marine Risks: Past history of regional militancy, piracy, and security risks in the Niger Delta raised the insurance and operational risk premiums for shipping lines traveling to eastern waters. Although security has improved relative to past decades, the perception of risk lingers among international liners. Business is not charity, it is not done to make people feel belong, it is done to make money.

Their plan is to make Tinubu unelectable in the South-South. I don't think they are not aware of the facts surrounding this now, since the last 4 days. They just want to create a scenario that will make some of the Obi supporters in the South-South rile up and start attacking the president. Ibos go about everywhere looking for how to sow the seeds of hatred and God always reward them with sorrow at the end.

1. The Federal Government is NOT funding this. It’s private equity attracted by the Ogun State govt. 2. Tinubu was only there as a witness because maritime ports require federal regulatory sign-offs. Instead of turning a subnational win into a tribal debate, let's use this energy to hold ALL state governors accountable. We need to watch the gubernatorial races and budgets in Abia, Zamfara, Ekiti, and Bayelsa just as closely as we watch Lagos or the Presidency. The pressure we give the FG should be distributed evenly to every single state house. Hold your governor accountable! 🇳🇬

They said Lagos is a no man's land so in reality this is the first seaport in Yorubaland now. Why so much cries. Make them stay one side. Is Lagos a Yorubaland or not. Ogun seaport is the first seaport in the SW na.

I did shed tears of watching those Osu descendants crying over the Ogun State deep seaport. So none of them is sound enough to know the truth about it? No wonder terrorists Ojukwu, Nnamdi kanu , Simon Ekpa rode them like horses in name of Biafra. Ibo future leaders are imbeciles.

A lot of Igbo people are not enlightened and too emotional, instead of doing more research to understand the whole 7 billion deep situation by Ogun state government. They are on social media crying, whining and complaining.

At this rate, it’s best these guys are cut away from Nigeria and any other tribe that wants to go with them. They’re too collectively slow mentally and they exist to slow down progress and spread hate.

It is an Ogun State project NOT federal government o ! Stop peddling falsehood! Tell your governors in the South East to stop being lazy and work hard to attract such huge investment. No investors come to invest in a restive region or where they sit at home every Monday!

My advice to the Igbos on the Ogun State Blue Sea Port is that they should continue working hard to use the sea port and allow Ogun State get the money invested very soon. We use our intelligence to put infrastructure in place while they work for us to gain back what we invested
