Her seat was sold. To every passenger that begged her to take the next flight should exit athe plane and go take that next flight. These airlines here should be undergoing periodic trainings.

Before people start waxing lyrical in the comment section, let me just say that Overbooking flights by operators IS NOT a strange practice. It's a COMMON PRACTICE in almost anywhere in the world. People need to research and study their "ticket labelling". If a flight is overbooked , you can be dropped according to your ticket category and labelling. Air flight operators are allowed to do so because based on probabilities and experience, every commuter or passenger hardly show up for their flight. What we are seeing here is a very rare occasion.

Refusing to board because of a seat assignment is just peak chaos. Should they even have been allowed on that flight in the first place?

If I was the lady, I won't deplane. It's either they give me the seat I paid for or we all remain inside the plane. Our service providers really need to do better.

Air Peace can not peacefully organise booking and boarding. They should learn to peacefully organise their operations.

You can book a flight thinking you have successful booked a flight, only for the staff to sell it to a higher bidder. Little wonder why they hardly give you a seat number after booking a flight.

The Airline is to blame. After all she has her boarding pass that entitled her to be on board .

The core issue isn't just who gave the seat; it’s that airlines treat seats like inventory rather than guaranteed space once you buy them. Do you think policies change if passengers are actually held accountable for the seating process?

It may be a mistake or booking error from the check-in officer who assigned one sit to two people. We are human, when it happen let it go.

I understand why she refused to leave. If you paid for a seat and were assigned one, “the flight is fully booked” sounds like an airline problem, not a passenger problem. But once your protest starts delaying hundreds of other passengers, you've also become part of the problem. Both sides need accountability.

This is what you get when agberos upgrade their services from molue at motor parks to airports. The difference is this time they are packaged differently but the mentality remains the same. Making nonsense out people's investment.

China Airlines Flight Delayed More Than Two Hours After Female Passenger Reportedly Demands Business-Class Upgrade. China Airlines flight CI521 was scheduled to depart Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) for Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN) at 2:10 p.m. on August 31. However, the flight was delayed for more than two hours after a female passenger reportedly became distressed and shouted in the cabin, demanding to be moved to business class. According to complaint from passengers on the same flight, boarding had already been completed and the aircraft had taxied around the runway and was preparing for takeoff when the woman allegedly became emotionally distressed and began shouting. The passenger reportedly said she was experiencing a panic attack and asked to see a doctor to determine whether she was fit to fly. She also allegedly asked whether she could pay to upgrade to business class. With no doctor on board, the cabin crew attempted to calm her and reportedly suggested that she leave the aircraft and rest until she felt better before continuing her journey. However, passengers said the woman became increasingly emotional and allegedly claimed that China Airlines was forcing her off the plane. Some passengers on board reportedly spoke up in support of the crew, saying the staff had been trying to handle the situation calmly. The incident resulted in a lengthy delay. Ground staff had to locate and remove the passenger’s luggage from the cargo hold before the aircraft could depart. The remaining passengers were left waiting on board as the situation was resolved. The aircraft eventually closed its doors and departed at around 4 p.m., more than two hours after its scheduled departure time. The incident left many passengers frustrated, particularly as the unexpected delay could affect connecting flights, business appointments and holiday plans. While passenger safety and wellbeing must take priority, the incident also highlighted how a single unexpected situation on board can affect an entire flight. POV: The “business-class upgrade” trick worked last time. This time, they said NO. Please consider the other 200+ passengers — all paid for the delay.
