The airline in a statement said the incident involved flight LX147 operated by an Airbus A330-343, registered as HB-JHK. According to Swiss, the aircraft was carrying 228 passengers and four infants. This video, supposedly of the Air India Express flight landing at #Phuket airport is doing rounds … the airline did not verify it as the same aircraft involved in the incident and am no expert but this looks bad and and a very hard landing , not at all as desired. Thankful that no injuries.. and all ended well for pax and crew. An Air India Express statement earlier in the day said: “We confirm that our Hyderabad-Phuket flight on 11 March experienced an issue with the nose wheel at Phuket Airport. The crew followed all standard protocols, and guests were deplaned. We thank our guests, the Phuket airport authorities, and all stakeholders for their cooperation.” - An Air India Express Spokesperson.”

Snow clearing operations continue on the airfield after 46cm of snow fell at Toronto Pearson. Air traffic management initiatives remain in place to safely manage aircraft movements. The severe winter weather impacted flights to and from Toronto Pearson, and flight schedules may change throughout the day as airlines work to restore normal operations following yesterday’s delays and cancellations. Flights to and from Atlantic Canada and certain parts of the U.S. may be impacted today as the system moves through the region. While there were a total of 181 people onboard Jeju Air Flight 2216, rescue authorities suspect almost all others, except for two people rescued, were also killed in the crash.
