Pat McAfee may have single handedly saved ESPN. What a hero

The show needed Saban to balance him out. Last year felt like too much Pat, too much showmanship. Feels like the right mix now.

Yeah I don’t get the hate - I think he’s great. I wouldn’t want him on game analysis in booth but love him for this kind of thing.

I stopped watching because of him. So I guess you captured a new demographic but you lost some too.

When Pat started Gameday, I was skeptical. Didn’t like some of his bits and what not. This year…he’s doing awesome! And I think Saban is balancing him out. It’s also great to see the interactions between Pat and Saban. It’s a whole new level!
