It’s my understanding the Eagles are holding Jaire Alexander out of Monday night’s game to set forth the best course of action with his knee recovery and allow him to get better acquainted with the defense, so he is good to go for the rest of the season and the playoffs Jaire Alexander told me in the locker room that his knee felt the best it has since knee surgery and recovery and preseason with the Ravens.

On the Thornton missed opportunity. To me Mahomes looks like he is surveying Kelce’s out. Maybe Juju’s dig route at some point . He sees Blakenship coming down to cover Kelce’s out. Blakenship collides with Adore Jackson. Thornton wide open. Mahomes pumps, slides left, resets, but Trey’s guy is lunging, Simmons guy may have a shot. With them out of eye sight, I think Mahomes tosses it, so there is zero chance of the ball being hit out versus lofting for more air to run under. Could be wrong but that’s my observation. #Chiefs #ChiefsKingdom

Brock Bowers - huge update If you watched the play, you can see the defender hit his right knee, and the inside of his right knee buckled a little bit. What was lost in translation was that his left knee landed hard on the turf in a flexed position. Up until today, we knew that he was dealing with a knee injury, but no specifics. Now we have video of him practicing with a brace on his left knee. So essentially his right knee got lucky, but his left knee was actually the problem. He’s likely dealing with a grade one, mild, PCL sprain of the left knee. As a result, he is low risk for significant injury, and will play on Monday night and should not have any restrictions or dips in performance. For comparison, last year, Puka Nacua had a grade 2 moderate PCL spray. If Bowers were to land on this knee again in a flex position, there’s a possibility that happens. I’m excited to see Bowers’s play in a potential shootout against the Chargers on Monday night.

Joel Embiid hyperextended his right knee in the third quarter last night, but was able to return a few minutes later. "I just hyperextended it, and then went to the locker room and checked it out...We'll see how it feels tomorrow." Overall, the big man is happy with where he is physically. "Body wise, some of the main issues coming into the season, my body feels pretty good. I'm moving much better offensively, and defensively I'm able to trust myself more."

Most concerning: ACL tear This is supported by a ‘pivot shift’ where the knee appears to shift/slightly buckle, usually this happens when the ACL is torn. The MCL is also at risk here. Finally, his left ankle is vulnerable to a high-ankle sprain. I discussed all of them in detail below for TheInjuryExpertz I wish him the best of luck & hope we have great news tmr
