While earlier pavement activities were happening before the Lekki Free Trade Zone, construction is now actively ongoing from Kilometre 75 to 79, pushing steadily toward Ogun State. At the same time, other construction teams are working around the Dangote Refinery axis, progressing toward the full connection of the Lagos–Ogun section of the highway.
