PCB’s Talent Hunt Programme is transforming domestic cricket by taking structured talent identification to the grassroots. This year, 1,400 schools and 21,000 young players are participating across Pakistan. The results are already evident, 16 of the 20 players selected for Pakistan U-17’s Sri Lanka series emerged from the 2025–26... Talent Hunt Programme. The journey doesn’t stop at identification. Talented players will progress into Regional U-15, U-17 and U-19 cricket and receive professional training at 16 Regional Academies across Pakistan. Also reinstate institutional cricket. Talent coming out of schools and clubs should be picked up by institutions like PIA, banks, railway and Wapda etc. Institutions will obviously pick talent on merit to safeguard their own interest.
