So the eyewall replacement, does that just happen on the bigger storms. I've read it makes a sort of double eyewall which makes it have more coverage and damage power

Yes when they go through an ERC the wind field expands and can make storm surges even more significant

Any idea what peak measured storm surge ended up being?

We just recovered our storm surge sensor
