Peanut butter is often oxidized and contaminated with mold toxins (PMID: 31367356). To make things worst, they even added seed oils, which have been shown to be harmful in several controlled human studies (PMID: 28503188, 8432867, 2008870, 10452406, 9488997, 22959954,14288105, 727035, 2643423, 36263326, 23815500, 22959954, 28088621, 23025469). If you really like nut butter and it doesn’t bother you, opt for macadamia butter.

Now I walk through supermarkets like there’s nothing here for me. A huge store of wasted space. I just go for the beef, eggs, cheese, pineapple, and oranges.

Hey @paulsaladinomd can you answer the fucking questions these fine people have? Stop making videos that scare people and help instead. Can or should you grind your own? What’s a healthy alternative? Which brand do you recommend? Is there a difference with the store grinder?

For those who want peanut butter without the linoleic acid/seed oil: -Peanut protein from Naked brand -Reconstitute it with MCT oil, extra virgin coconut oil, or melted beef tallow I can't prove that there is no mold in their peanuts, ideally there would be a peanut protein brand made from Valencia peanuts (Valencia peanuts are mold free). But, this is a vastly superior way to make peanut butter for those who are going to consume it.
