Someone told someone who speaks not a single word of English to search "Easter" words online, and they found things like tulips and peeps and eggs, and then they found a list of sayings no one understood and copied them on the fabric. Once I was at the TGI Friday's in Beijing when some foreign family was having a big kids' birthday party for a group maybe 8-10 years old. They were playing the foulest gangsta rap you can imagine over the loudspeakers. Extremely graphic lyrics about abusing women and murdering people. I told the manager, he was horrified. He'd sent out some kid to the local shop to buy an illegal CD of "English music." They had no idea what it was saying. Got a free meal from that.

I'm guessing the actual fabric was originally made for adults clothing, it was probably bought cheap by a chinese children's clothing manufacturer and they didn't bother to translate it to understand it, but that's just me using logic.

China makes most of the consumer goods the world buys. Unfortunately, Chinese people often don't speak English very well. These sound like Valentines cards... maybe Easter cards? I suspect the Chinese factory copied the card's English. You can see this in Japanese anime/manga too

As a parent, why wouldn’t you read the clothes before buying them. My mum hated clothes with graphics and text so if she was going to get me something with either of those she’d read it all out throughly before purchase, same applies for baby gifts

Its probably just some Chinese factory that took a "cute" design made for adults and stuck it on a kids outfit without checking what it says or understanding the innuendos. That sort of thing happens a lot. But yeah, that's real weird to put your kids in.

I would put it down to bad translation more than anything

In SE Asia, you'll find adults going around with really weird stuff printed in English on their clothes, as it's copy/pasted from sources they imagine are saying cute things. If you find such clothes, check where they're made. It might be that. Or it might be what you think

Years and years ago when my daughter was little, she wanted some tights from Target. They weren't as blatant as this but the things had panda heads and saturn on the leggings. 2 things that absolutely do not go together at all, but if you're in to conspiracies at all.. IYKYK

i've heard that some kids clothing is taken from existing pieces. For example, i could imagine this being on adult clothing and then they just reused the material without reading it (maybe english isnt their first language? china makes a lot of stuff).
