Joshua McDaniel, 28, is facing two felony assault charges after brutally attacking two men in separate incidents, using a metal pipe to beat his victims. This is the Man Down Cornwall campaign video for 2024. It’s a thought-provoking watch, but that’s exactly what we want it to be. Far too many men suffer in silence and are not able to talk openly about how they feel about themselves, their lives and the world around them. The stigma of male mental health needs to end. Man Down run talking meetings around Cornwall (UK) for men with mental health concerns. Meetings are run by male volunteers with lived experience of mental health. We run these meetings to help men talk to other men in a safe, supportive environment without judgement. Together we can eradicate the stigma of male mental health. We want this video to be shared far and wide. We want to make men understand that the trauma effect and the destruction left behind after a life is taken is unbearable and utterly devastating for everyone involved. As big believers in mental health support for all, it’s critical that we understand these issues while finding every way possible to raise awareness of our service so that no-one is alone and struggling with their mental health. Recently I delivered a talk to 250 healthcare professionals who work in mental health teams to highlight the role of our hormones in relation to our mental health. As you’ll hear in this clip, we have oestrogen and testosterone receptors all over our bodies and in our brain as well. Each area of the brain plays a role in the way we think, the way we move and the way we act, and so when our hormone levels reduce, many women will experience psychological symptoms too. It’s really important that our hormones are considered when women are struggling with their mental health, so receiving this feedback from the consultant psychiatrist who organised the event is really good to see: “I must say I think we will all consider the menopause much more in our clinical practice after yesterday, I am keen to see if we can get some agreement or guidance around this and how we can potentially advise GP colleagues to consider HRT treatment if they have not done so already. I certainly will be suggesting it in my practice.” Thank you to Kehinde for organising the event with Nottinghamshire Healthcare Nottinghamshire Healthcare Medical Education . Hopefully we will see an improvement in mental health support for perimenopausal and menopausal women as a result.

Will there be justice for Alisa Hackett? Newly-released video shows an Arkansas State trooper punching 18-year-old Alisa Hackett in the face during a traffic stop earlier this month, after forcing her to the ground on the side of a highway. Trooper Moisses Arellano said she was resisting arrest, after he pulled her over for allegedly driving 11 miles above the posted speed limit with her hazards on. The trooper also said he found a sealed bottle of alcohol in her car. Hackett is facing multiple charges, including refusing to submit to arrest. Arkansas State Police have not said whether Arellano will face any discipline. Watch the video. It's insane.

Still he requires a mental health checkup & treatment as he is going through a serious psychological problem. His treatment is important for our society as he often roams around the state & can bite anyone in public area. It's risky because all our citizens are not at all vaccinated with the rabies vaccine. Did you know that there are teenagers committing suicide in Gaza? Unfortunately this has happened multiple times over the last few months due to the horrific circumstances people are living in. Just like water and food are crucial for survival, so is mental health! The Sameer Project camps have counselors that provide art therapy, animal therapy, and music therapy. We also got a somatic healer who started doing somatic sessions with our teenagers. And of course we have our partners at Techmed Gaza who provide mental health services to our camps.
