This is from Chicago. (USA drives on the right). As you can see, buses do keep changing lanes and will stop frequently at bus stops. There is no dedicated bus lane. If you are behind a bus, you gotta wait, or find a way to safely change lanes. So when the local buses in India do it, please understand that it is quite normal. Pls Don’t honk, be patient. #RoadSafety TGSRTC

UPDATE: But honestly, where are these people coming from? When this city was a complete ghetto these people were nowhere to be found. Now all of a sudden they are everywhere. They are even trying to colonize a bus shelter that is still under construction. The government keeps evacuating them. Some are sent to rehabilitation homes some are arrested and then RELEASED and sent back to where they’re coming from but they still keep multiplying.

A private travels bus was completely engulfed in flames killing about 25 passengers Cauvery Travels bus (DD 01 AN 9190) coming from Bangalore to Hyderabad was gutted in flames on the main road at Chinnatekur in Kurnool district. According to locals, 42 people were traveling in the bus at the time of the accident and only 12 people survived escaping from the emergency exit !! A two wheeler rammed into the bus causing the fire. More details are awaited! Condolences to the families of the victims! This isn’t the first time a fire accident took place in a private bus. Thank God for Mama Bears like this lady! A 5 year-old boy in Las Vegas, who didn’t speak English was told by his parents to get on his school bus when his alarm went off. Unfortunately, he boarded a city bus instead. This lady, finding it odd for such a young child to ride alone, asked the bus driver if the boy rode the bus every day. The driver told her that children under five ride for free and she should sit down and shut up. Mama Bear and other concerned women didn’t accept it. The lady ended up calling the cops to report that the boy was riding a two-hour city bus route by himself. According to RTC children 5 years of age and younger ride free and MUST be accompanied by an adult. I don’t care where who you are but if you are willing to put your child at risk, you are POS and should be arrested for neglect.
