People ask me how relevant that second carrier battle group heading to the Middle East really is. It’s very relevant. And it’s very troubling. The USS George H.W. “Again, the title on your screens, you can see it there, 7th of July. We read twice for you that Farage’s spokesperson has said that Mr Nigel Farage had already told the relevant people in Parliament about both his donation from Harbourne and also his donation from Cottrell, and those people responsible in parliament for investigating parliamentary standards advised Farage he did not have to register those relationships in the parliamentary standards register. and that’s according to the Telegraph today, that Farage was advised ‘that they did not need to be reported’. Now that particular piece of information is highly highly relevant, because it’s a very specific rebuttal by Nigel. He is stating that he had already told the relevant people in parliament of these two donations and that they’d advised him that he did not need to report them. If that’s a lie, it’s very easy to catch Nigel Farage out in that lie because of course there will be those people in parliament will be able to say ‘we weren’t told, there’s no record of Nigel Farage telling us.’ But Farage claiming that he had indeed told them is a very specific thing to be lying about, because it’s very easy to disprove. So for Farage to make that claim in our view indicates that he did indeed tell the relevant people in parliament about the relationship he had with Christopher Harbourne and Posh George, or George Cottrell, otherwise he’d be very easily caught out lying.” Maajid Nawaz for WARRIOR CREED
