@Trezor Shocking how crypto OGs like Trezor allocate resources educating people on Bitcoin, a failed payments network with almost zero use cases outside of “hodl.” While reflecting cypherpunk ideals, we need to move beyond Bitcoin if we want to develop as an industry.

The Executive Mayor of Mossel Bay, Dirk Kotzé, made his first #Bitcoin transaction yesterday. We didn't just build a skate bowl. We built a reason for anyone (and everyone) from the surrounding community, South Africa, and wherever else to ask (and learn) "Why #Bitcoin?"

Some people ask "Why does Bitcoin have value?" The real starting point to answer this question is: If we could redesign money, what qualities would we want it to have? 🤔 PS: How cool is that animation at 1:55 🌎🤯

“We hear stories of some actress who do things with politicians for money. So when people ask me on why I am not rich like the others, I tell them to go ask them what other jobs they do. Cus we know how much Africa magic & other platforms pay for a movie.” -Bimbo Akintola

These are the people the White population of South Africa has to deal with on a daily basis. It’s a clip from Ross Kemp’s documentary in South Africa, where he discusses ‘jackrolling’ (gang rape) with the locals.
