Man - this is almost exactly the set up that I offered to McDonald's consultants when talking about an automated kitchen. However, I had the ingredients dropping onto the bun, not a basket. Con: this is the slowest robot I have ever seen. A human would have made 8 sandwiches by the time this made one. Interesting Note: A few years ago, MCD tested an automated kitchen in Bolingbrook. They they had it under lock and key. You could not go into that kitchen unless you were one of the few & chosen (and probably an NDA). I don’t have pics bc all pics were prohibited. All I know is that it just didn’t work out.

This is a real, untouched 1958 kitchen and I am obsessed. Robin’s Egg Blue appliances, matching counters, a working electric can opener, a dumbwaiter with a pink interior, a hidden accordion door, a pull-out three-tier serving cart, and enough secret compartments to make a spy jealous. Modern kitchens really said “let’s make everything gray and boring” and called it an upgrade. Meanwhile this kitchen has more personality in one spice cabinet than most new builds have in the entire house. I don’t want an open concept. I want whatever this is. Would you keep a kitchen like this exactly as is, or would you be tempted to update it?

This family just got an IKEA kitchen delivered to their new home. It’s 210 packages, and many people say the instructions are almost nonexistent, it’s just diagrams. He’s going to have to unbox every part and arrange it in a way that can be identified so that will help with the frustration, many people who bought this quit out of frustration and tried to return it. Whenever people order kitchen sets like this, should it at least come with better instructions or at least a video, have you ever tried to put something together and the instructions weren’t clear and you ended up messing it up?

One of the things I said I’d do when I had the money was use it to solve a problem that I had dealt with when I was starting out. For so many young chefs, it can cost upwards of 1m to get a space, rent dishes, cups, napkins and cutlery, hire staff etc. Oremi solves this probably by providing a fully equipped kitchen and dining room complete with service staff and kitchen staff. Yesterday, tragically, seven aid workers from World Central Kitchen were accidentally killed in an airstrike. After October 7th, World Central Kitchen was among the first responders, providing aid to Israelis affected by Hamas's attacks. Since then, they've extended their support to the people in Gaza as well. Israel immediately took responsibility and initiated an investigation into the circumstances of the accident. Additionally, they are collaborating with representatives from World Central Kitchen and the governments of the foreign nationals involved. It was a devastating accident, and Israel, like the rest of the world, mourns this loss of life.

Hobi about Taehyung 🐿️: Taehyung really played a big role on this tour. He spent a lot of time hanging out with me 🐿️: He kind of helped the members be happy? like that kind of role? He made the tour more fun for everyone. I really enjoyed it, seriously. Thanks to Taehyung, we even got to play pickleball, and I feel like during our tour, going forward too, if we try doing more different things together and spend time like that, we’ll be able to enjoy it even more

Humanoid robots are great, but I also want the moments where I’m the one doing the chores to be more fun. With Vision Pro I can upgrade my kitchen to feature a TV, my favorite apps, the recipe, a timer and more. It feels like a completely different experience baking or cooking like that, and suddenly I don’t mind doing the dishes anymore. This is the future, and I’m so ready for it when it comes.

I would’ve walked out immediately… An undercover inspector checked out a kitchen and found rotten food and seriously dirty cooking areas. It’s the kind of thing that makes you question what’s really going on behind the scenes. Cleanliness in a kitchen isn’t optional. it’s everything when it comes to trust and safety. Would you still eat at a place like this if you saw it for yourself, or leave right away?
