Nothing but the truth. Our experience in this country for 400+ years is not important for them.. the oldest family member in my family she’s 96 years old. Before that my oldest family member who died last year she was 99 years old. I also lost her great Grant who was 90 years old.. My mom is still alive.. it is just 60+ years that Black people starting to experience some real sense of freedom in this country. The civil rights laws was 1964 and 65.. and Trump said, it discriminate against white people. When white people were discriminated against Black people. they were making large they deliberately abuse, Black people. Donald Trump knows what it looks like and feels like in Jim Crow America cause he benefit from it. And that is why he’s pushing to bring back Jim Crow 2.0.

Another life lost in ICE custody - 75-year-old Isidro Perez, a Cuban man who fled Cuba in 1966 after Fidel Castro declared Martial Law. He lived legally in the U.S. for nearly 60 years. An elderly man, with known medical conditions, should have never been detained in the first place. He died at the Krome detention center - the same place Rep. Carlos Gimenez called “adequate.” It’s the third death there this year. That’s not adequate. That’s a crisis. I was part of the Mariel Boatlift rescue mission. #CHOP - It has been five years, but the weight of those nights at CHOP still sits heavily on my soul. Watching this report on FOX 13 Seattle this morning brought it all rushing back. For years, I have wrestled with a haunting question: Was it my livestreams that Antonio Mays Jr. was watching back home? Did my coverage paint a picture that prompted him to leave everything he knew and travel to Seattle? I was there documenting history the night he was murdered, standing amidst the chaos and the heartbreak. But what I didn’t realize until recently—what I didn’t know for five long years—was that I had looked him in the eye just 48 hours prior. I didn’t realize I had captured his final words. In this newly rediscovered footage, the noise and the politics of CHOP fade away, and all you see is humanity. You don’t see a "rioter" or a "threat." You see a 16-year-old boy with a gentle spirit. You see a young man who was articulate, reasonable, and driven by a desire to make the world better. He wasn’t there for destruction; he was there asking for better supervision and training for the police. He was there to be part of a solution. As the wrongful death lawsuit against the City of Seattle begins next week, we cannot let the legal arguments erase the human being at the center of this tragedy. We have to remember the boy who left a note for his father saying he wanted to make him proud. We cannot forget that before he was a victim, and before he was a headline, Antonio Mays Jr. was a teenager with a vision for a better world. This is wild. The story of Diego Pillco. He is an illegal alien who murdered actress and writer in 2006. He was convicted of manslaughter (don’t know how only manslaughter), and sentenced to 25 years. He gave something of a “TED talk” from jail, highlighting how he has “changed” and progressed as a person. I appreciate there are those who believe incarceration should be punishment AND rehabilitation. But sometimes, it should just be punishment. Listen to the full speech (link in reply). What struck me is how he effectively glossed over what he did, and instead emphasized how he was a victim throughout. It feels especially enraging for him to talk about having thrown his life away, and how he wants to see his parents, after having murdered a woman who would never be able to see her family again. I know there are people who believe in forgiveness and redemption, for anyone. But I do believe that there are actions so evil and depraved, forgiveness and redemption on this earth is no longer an option.

A man's house burns down, he loses everything, he sleeps somewhere safe while he figures out what's next. ...and your instinct is to sneer at him for it?!!!! WHO LET HIS HOUSE BURN DOWN JON?!!!!!! WHO?! Oh right... you don't want to answer those questions. You never did on Pod Save America. You tip toed around them, never letting any doubt or real debate onto your show so your listeners, like me, never heard the truth. We just heard what you WANTED us to hear. I despise you for it. Adam Carolla tells Jerry Seinfeld he recognized something on the Seinfeld set that completely ruined the show for him. It proved the show was shot in LA, not New York. When Seinfeld premiered in 1989, Carolla was working on earthquake retrofits in Koreatown. The moment he saw the tension anchor plates bolted to the outside of Jerry’s apartment building, he knew, “This is not New York,” and it took him “completely out of it.” Those plates are used to strengthen buildings against earthquakes, a common sight in California, but not in Manhattan. CAROLLA: “I would see those tension anchor plates, the square plates on the outside of the apartment building. And I put those plates on for a living.” “I would look at those anchor plates and I’d go, ‘This is not in New York.’” SEINFELD: “We didn’t have guys to do earthquake rehab. We didn’t have Photoshop to get rid of them.” Seinfeld asked how those tension plates work, and Carolla gave him a highly technical answer he wasn’t mentally prepared for. I have just heard that the Zimbabwean Ambassador to Mozambique, Mr Victor Matemadanda, has died. He was a man who lived a colourful and complex life, at times standing with the people, and at other times pursuing the interests of the regime when it suited him. Such is often the nature of Zimbabwean politics. Yet when people pass away, our first duty is to mourn them and to reflect on the lives they lived. In most cases, we remember those moments, actions, or words that resonated most deeply with us. For me, this interview more than ten years ago was one of those moments. It was the point at which I took particular notice of Mr Matemadanda as a politician, political activist, war veteran, and influential figure within ZANUPF. In it, he spoke about issues that resonated with me and with millions of other Zimbabweans. The tragedy, however, is that when his faction eventually gained control of government, it went on to do the very opposite of what he was advocating in this interview. That contradiction remains one of the enduring lessons of Zimbabwean politics. It is an interview that every Zimbabwean should listen to and reflect upon. May his soul rest in peace. My sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all those who knew and loved him.

I met President Trump the first time at Mar-a-Lago years ago in what turned out to be a very surreal moment. He had tweeted praisingly about me and my work multiple times, but to be really honest- when you’re meeting him face to face you really don’t know for sure if he’ll know who you are. He grabbed me by my arm and took me around to all the tables at Mar-a-Lago and said to the guests, “Do you know who he is? He’s getting everybody to WALK AWAY from the Democrat party- it’s really something.” I legit started having an out of body experience. In a few minutes time he completely validated that he really does know and see what I’m doing, and it is really him who is commenting on it. I showed him my iPhone case, which has a copy of the first tweet he ever published about # WalkAway, saying, “congratulations to Brandon Straka for starting something very special”. He loved it. Thank you, Donald J. Trump for opening my eyes to the truth and changing my life forever. Thank you for pardoning me from a crime I didn’t commit. And thank you for all of your sacrifices to save America. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MR. PRESIDENT!!!

was in an auto the other day and the driver kept watching short videos while driving not occasionally watching, this dude was locked in busy scrolling and not really paying attention to the road at one point, a truck ahead of us started reversing, he didn’t notice and i had to scream Anna nodi munde, he braked at the last second I told him, calmly, please don’t watch videos while driving, and not just with me, even when you’re alon, he agreed but 5 minutes later, he was back at it again you can see in the video, he knows i’m recording him, he tries to block it with his shoulder, but still doesn’t stop watching clips I’m not even mad at him, I could see he is clearly addicted to it, he’s not really at fault, i don’t know who is at fault and there are so many people who do this everyday, scrolling through reels while driving and it’s dangerous, even if you are careful there is always a chance someone else on the road is glued to their phone and they dont pay attention
