The city has installed 73 streetlights in Rethabiseng and 28 streetlights in Zithobeni Ext 4. We joined residents, local councillors and the MMC for Utility Services Cllr Frans Boshielo to energise these streetlights. We want our communities to be accessible day and night and this project will ensure that this objective is achieved. Last year, the city conducted similar programmes in Rama City and Hammanskraal. People should not be purposely antagonizing people, especially saying racist statements, while being armed. That’s actually part of the Tennessee Carry Laws.
